New York Starbucks Bomber In Custody

A 17 year old male is in custody in New York City in connection with the May 25 bombing of a Starbucks coffee shop in the city’s Upper East Side.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said in a statement to the media that Kyle Shaw was arrested Tuesday night at his apartment in Manhattan after a police investigation discovered the teen was bragging to his friends about how he was responsible for planting an explosive device outside an Upper East Side Starbucks in May.

Apparently Shaw got loose-lipped and bragged to friends that “Project Mayhem” was about to take place and that they should watch the local news on Memorial Day.

Shaw was obsessed with the 1999 movie “Fight Club” where a scene in the movie depicted a Starbucks being blown up.
