Little Mix Thank Waiter, Get Couple Engaged, And Party At Manchester Club After Concert

Little Mix have been putting the U.K. under a spell during their Get Weird Tour, and some of the concert-goers have described their shows as one big party. Despite this, Little Mix has a serious side, and at the same time prove that anything can happen at one of their concerts — including romance.

About Little Mix’s latest concerts, the Manchester Evening News reviewed Little Mix’s performance on March 25 and stated the following.

“[T]he highlight is midway through the show, when [Little Mix plays] ‘Salute.’ With ferocity, we’re invited to lace up our boots, stand up and awaken. ‘Divas, queens, we don’t need no man, salute!’ they sing, noses scrunched and teeth clenched. Their passion leaving no doubt just who runs this world.”

For this reason, it should be no surprise to hear that Little Mix kept the party going in Manchester long after their concert was over. Also, adding to the list of weird stuff happening on the Little Mix Get Weird Tour, a waiter wrote a good luck message on a receipt, and Little Mix went out of their way to thank them on social media.

According to the Liverpool Echo, when Little Mix played a concert in that city, they had a bite to eat before the show at Browns restaurant. When Little Mix got their receipt, the waiter had written “thank you” and “break a leg.”

Little Mix have a weird life

Little Mix was so impressed that they later posted the receipt from Browns in Liverpool’s city center to their Instagram, and that was just the beginning of the partying for Little Mix that week.

Following their show in Manchester, Little Mix continued the party at a nightclub. Daily Mail snapped a few photos of three-out-of-four of the Little Mix crew on their way to Club Liv in Manchester on March 25 while Jesy Nelson stayed in that night to nurse her arm injury from the previous week.

Manchester Evening News points out that Little Mix were celebrating after a sold-out show and also highlighted that it was the same night that Zayn Malik released his new solo album.

They also discussed that it was interesting that Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards was in Manchester where her ex, Zayn Malik, filmed his newly released video for the song “BeFour.”

However, it is not all about partying for Little Mix because they also have a serious side. For instance, the Belfast Telegraph reports that Little Mix plans to dedicate one of their shows to a fan that suddenly died of an asthma attack.

Regardless, when times are tough, Little Mix stays on top — even when their rock, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, is feeling down. For example, the Morning Bulletin reports that when Little Mix was having a hard time with songwriting, they stated they were crying over their failures and felt forlorn when they saw the effervescent Leigh-Anne was also frustrated.

One interesting thing that also has happened at a Little Mix show is a marriage proposal.

According to Burton Mail, “Deborah Toon, of Birkdale Avenue, was treated to the special proposal by Lee Todd at the Little Mix concert at the Motorpoint Arena, in Nottingham, following weeks of secret preparations.”

Adding to this, the opening act for Little Mix, Nathan Sykes, helped the couple with the proposal by working with the music, according to J-14, and they described the scene on stage as follows.

“While one lucky lady sat on stage during Nathan’s performance of his hit single, ‘Over and Over Again,’ the woman’s significant other appeared from behind her, and got down on one knee.”

For the record, the lady that got proposed to at the Little Mix concert said “yes.”
