‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Star Charlie Hunnam Set To Wed Longtime Love Morgana McNelis After Online Bully Scandal?

Despite their longstanding relationship, Charlie Hunnam has yet to tie the knot with Morgana McNelis. However, following a recent online bullying scandal, it now appears as though the Sons of Anarchy star is ready to take his relationship with McNelis to the next level. Will Hunnam find time outside of his busy schedule to marry his longtime girlfriend?

According to Refinery 29, McNelis was the recent target of online bullying. Apparently, some of Hunnam’s fans took to social media to express their disapproval and dislike of McNelis, which Hunnam did not appreciate.

In fact, Hunnam shared a heated letter to his fans in which he took to McNelis’ defense. Hunnam held nothing back in the letter and directly called out those who had posted the demeaning messages about McNelis.

“It has been brought to my attention that there is a group of immature girls posting a large number of hard messages aimed at my longtime girlfriend,” Hunnam wrote. “I would respectfully ask you to stop doing this. She is an intelligent, beautiful, kind person who just tried to live a simple life and has nothing to do with the entertainment industry. If you want to talk s**t, talk s**t about me, leave her out of it.”

Hunnam went on to share how the last 11 years with McNelis have been great and that he hoped “to spend the next 60 years” with her as well. With Hunnam’s dedication to McNelis as strong as ever, it seems likely that the two will finally exchange vows.

To add further credence to a coming wedding, Parent Herald is reporting that Hunnam and McNelis have purchased a home in L.A. The two were recently spotted in a rare public appearance together shopping for furniture for their new house. With a home in their name, it seems like only a matter of time before the two formally announce their plans to marry.

That being said, Hunnam and McNelis are notorious for keeping their private lives out of the news, which means fans might have to wait a while for any kind of announcement. In fact, in addition to their rare public sightings, Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that fans didn’t even know that McNelis was arrested for selling marijuana until two years after the fact.

Although they like to keep their private dealings under wraps, McNelis recently opened up about her relationship with Charlie Hunnam. In an interview with Taylor Magazine, the jewelry designer shared what she thinks are the keys to maintaining a healthy relationship.

“I think the key to maintaining a good balance is creating a safe space within the relationship for both partners in which to grow and evolve,” McNelis explained. “It’s very important to be present and participate in each other’s experiences so that falling in love doesn’t happen just once, it continues to happen over and over.”

Meanwhile, there is one thing that might hinder a future union: Hunnam’s schedule. According to Movie News Guide, Hunnam’s career has gotten even busier following the end of Sons of Anarchy as the actor makes his transition to the big screens.

Along with his part in Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak, Hunnam has participated in a number of different projects after leaving Kurt Sutter’s side. This includes his part in Guy Ritchie’s Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur and his role in The Lost City of Z.

Of course, if Hunnam and McNelis truly want to get married, then they’ll surely find the time to do so. Until more information is announced, fans can, at least, look forward to the release of Sutter’s Sons of Anarchy prequel and spinoff, which may or may not include Hunnam’s Jax Teller.
