Iggy Azalea Admits Britney Spears’ Team Once Searched Her House For Drugs

Iggy Azalea is revealing the pretty shocking thing Britney Spears’ team did ahead of her 2015 team-up with Spears on the single “Pretty Girls.”

Azalea opened up about the seriously bizarre preparations Britney’s people did during a recent appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live!, where Azalea confessed that Spears’ team actually did a full search of her home before allowing her around the pop star to make sure she wasn’t “a bad influence.”

According to E! News, Azalea admitted on the Bravo show that Spears’s team once “came and checked my place to make sure I wasn’t trying to stash anything weird and, like, get it to her or something” before she was allowed to work with Britney.

Admitting that Spears’s people didn’t find anything in her house because she’s “not” a bad influence, Azalea joked, “I passed the test! I mean, I don’t have like a crack den.”

Iggy also got candid in the new Bravo interview about the alleged feud between herself and Spears that took place after “Pretty Girls” only saw mediocre success around the world following its release in May 2015.

Azalea denied that there was ever any bad blood with Britney Spears and confessed that the two “are cool” and “always have been” despite rumors that the two didn’t exactly see eye to eye following “Pretty Girls.”

“We’ve never had a fight,” Azalea told Cohen.

The drama between the two first began when Azalea appeared to throw some serious shade Britney’s way over the track back in June 2015 after a fan tweeted Iggy that the single “flopped a little bit.”

In a now-deleted tweet, Iggy supposedly wrote that “its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc.,” before noting, “unfortunately im just featured…”

Britney’s fans speculated at the time that Iggy’s tweet suggested she was blaming Spears’ for the song’s chart downfall, although the rapper denied at the time that she was blasting Britney with her message.

“My comment is factual, it applies to any song,” Azalea tweeted out on the social media site last year. “I dont have to suck the womans a**hole 24/7 to be her friend, do i? bye girls.”

But while Azalea appeared to deny that she was dissing Britney Spears in her message on the 140-character site, it appeared that Spears’ didn’t exactly see things the same way.

“Can’t wait to get back to Vegas. So thankful I have shows for the rest of the year to look forward to,” Spears tweeted out following Iggy’s remarks, adding the hashtag #YouWantAPieceOfMe.

Interestingly, Britney’s seemingly scathing tweet came just days after Azalea announced that she had cancelled her entire North American tour, which the Los Angeles Times claimed at the time was due to poor ticket sales.

But while Azalea is alleging that a feud between her and Britney never happened, Iggy appeared to show just a little shade Britney’s way during her latest appearance on Watch What Happens Live! after she admitted that she’d actually rather see Jennifer Lopez’s “All I Have” Las Vegas show and not Britney’s wildly popular “Piece of Me” concert.

“I’d probably say JLo, just because of the level of dancing that she provides,” Iggy told Andy Cohen when pressed to choose which of the Sin City divas she’d rather see live in Las Vegas. “I know Britney’s a dancer too, but JLo’s, like, [full throttle]… so, I like both, but I’d probably go to JLo’s.”
