‘Real Housewives’ Star Kenya Moore: Phaedra Showing Her Self-Hatred And Ignorance

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore may have changed her attitude a bit over the years, as she’s now ready to fight with almost everyone on the show. Kenya has some thick skin, and she’s been able to take whatever comes at her during The Real Housewives of Atlanta and the drama-filled reunion specials. But when someone says or does something that she doesn’t agree with, Moore doesn’t hold back. And this was proven when Phaedra Parks made some jokes about Kenya’s skin color, calling her oatmeal pie face, on the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion last weekend.

According to a new report, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore is now speaking out about being teased about her skin color, and she isn’t happy about it. But she’s more disappointed in Phaedra’s decision to criticize people of color. And as Moore points out, this shows her Real Housewives co-star’s ignorance.

“I wiped the slate clean with Phaedra hoping to move on. Unfortunately, her heart is heavy with so much hatred and jealousy of me that she can’t move on. She insulted my looks and my skin on nearly every episode the entire season. When she insults the dark hue of my complexion, she is showing her self-hatred and ignorance. All black is beautiful. I’m proud to be dark skinned. Too bad she can’t separate her color complex and celebrate the natural differences among the entire black diaspora,” Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore reveals in her blog for the reunion special.

And Moore doesn’t understand why Parks is using the lack of a husband and children as a dig. It’s no secret that Moore wants both a husband and a child, so it seems like a pointless jab — especially since Parks’ own husband is currently serving time, leaving her children without a father.

“And why does she continue to try and insult me by stating I don’t have kids and a husband when her own felonious husband is in prison leaving her children fatherless? #JesusFixHer,” this Real Housewives star points out.

As for Phaedra, she admits that she may have crossed the line on the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special. In a blog for the reunion special, Phaedra reveals that she has apologized to her co-star, but she also adds that she simply doesn’t like Moore one bit, according to Bravo.

“I apologized to Kenya because she expressed that I had hurt her feelings, which was not my intention, so I felt owed her an apology. While Kenya is definitely not my favorite person, I do not have an issue with her. I do not always understand her, but I am clear that it takes all kinds of people to make the world go around,” Phaedra explains of her situation with Kenya.

But this isn’t the only drama that Parks has with her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars. She was also caught up in the drama with Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, as she owed Tucker money for an unfinished product.

“I was thinking this whole situation has been extremely frustrating and blown out of proportion. The video was shot almost three years ago. Todd has been paid all of the money invoiced and I still have not received a commercially acceptable product. However, I am not going to put any more of my energy into this matter,” Parks reveals in her blog.
