Miley Cyrus On The ‘Hannah Montana’ Anniversary And Boyfriend Liam Hemsworth

Singer and actress Miley Cyrus has a lot to be thankful for today, March 24. Today is the 10th year anniversary of Hannah Montana, the hit Disney TV series that launched Miley’s career into the stratosphere.

Hannah Montana is all about the bittersweet life of teenagers growing up. The central focus of the series was Miley Stewart, a supposedly ordinary teenager who transforms into a famous recording artist at night. Only Montana’s friends and family are supposed to be aware of her secret, and it is in trying to keep the celebrity singer’s double life under wraps that a typical episode goes about its mumbo jumbo while throwing in teen angst here and there.

Hannah Montana would last four seasons, debuting on March 24, 2006, and concluding on January 16, 2011. By far, Wikipedia holds quite a bit of information about the series. Because the show was a musical comedy, it showcased Miley Cyrus’ acting, comic talent, and, of course, the vocal pyrotechnics that has made her so famous. Elite Daily reports how the singer got especially emotional today, churning out a heartfelt Instagram post that said, “Ever since the show came to an end in 2011, life just hasn’t been the same. There’s a void in our hearts, and we’re hurting.”

The Hannah Montana actress would confess, though, that “HM is chopped up into little tiny pieces and buried in my backyard…she will always hold a very special place in my heart!”

Clearly, such outbursts are classic Miley Cyrus, who loves to shock her Instagram followers with her unrehearsed and often disturbing poses.

Some fans secretly wish that Cyrus and Justin Bieber will hook up someday, much to the chagrin of other fans who only want Liam Hemsworth for the superstar. A Miley-Justin tandem will certainly augur well for the respective careers of both singers, since they both have a tremendous and loyal following.

When Miley first broke up with Liam, she decided to cut her hair page boy style. At that stage, she did bear an uncanny resemblance to Bieber, but then she has stopped wearing the same coiffure since she and Liam reconciled last December.

No one knows for sure, though, if the two are still together, since, as the International Business Times recently disclosed, Liam reportedly caught Miley cheating when the latter accidentally sent the Hunger Games actor a sex text that was meant for her ex-girlfriend Stella Maxwell.

The source also added, “They get into fights, but one thing they are making sure to do is to keep their relationship separate from their careers. They didn’t do that last time, and that is what made the relationship fizzle. But they are really being careful to make it work this time. It is a process they definitely want to succeed with.”

Whether the love birds are still on or not, the pair definitely look good together. Sometimes, it’s easy to mistake Cyrus for Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence. But Miley and Liam did have a romantic movie together, titled The Last Song. It was made when the two were an item for the first time. Now, nobody knows if they are on again or off again.

One thing for sure, though, is that Hannah Montana will forever be in the psyche of all Miley Cyrus fans. And if Liam never returns to her life, Justin Bieber is still very much around. That is, if the hunk isn’t around with Kourtney Kardashian or Selena Gomez.
