Kim Kardashian West has some beautiful clothes, and each year, she cleans out her closet with the idea of giving a portion of the proceeds to charity. While this is a very worthy cause, the amount that she donates and to whom she gives the money to is under question, according to the New York Post.
This spring, Kim had 240 items listed on Ebay over the weekend and it was a bidding frenzy. She had footwear from many of her favorite brands including, Gianvito Rossi, Kim Kardashian West Kollection, Manolo Blahnik, Rupert Sanderson, Alexandre Birman, Sergio Rossi, and Jean-Michael. Each pair sold for over $100 and one pair of Louboutin black studded sling-back shoes sold for a whopping $810.

Kim Kardashian West had sunglasses and snow goggles listed which sold between $16.50 for an unlabeled plastic pair to $535 for her Alpina White Pilot 1 thin arm sunglasses. Other items included in her eBay auction were ties, bags, shirts, dresses, skirts, and pants. One of the items she sold was a monogrammed chinchilla coat and it closed with a bid of $4,050.00 with only $10.25 shipping.
While all this is admirable in the fact that Kim Kardashian West wants to donate to charity, her charitable institution is highly questionable and the amount she gives makes her appear greedy. Kim Kardashian West donates only 10 percent of her sales to support the Vous, while the rest of the money goes into her pocket, after eBay fees, PayPal fees, shipping costs, and her people are paid to take pictures and list her items.

Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. runs The Vous, which is a shortened version of the real business name, Rendezvous Church, and if this name or the pastor’s name sounds familiar, it should. Pastor Rich is the same minister who married Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in Florence, Italy, on May 24, 2014.
Pastor Wilkinson and his wife, DawnCheré Wilkerson, are very different from the normal ministers. They are a part of the rich and famous crowd and are friends not only with the Kardashian/Jenner family, but also Justin Bieber. However, that is not enough for them to just preach the word of God and live in a barely getting by lifestyle. Just like the Kardashians and the Jenners, he is on a reality show, “Rich in Faith” on the Oxygen channel. He and his wife live in a beautiful penthouse duplex in Miami, Florida.
It is alleged that Rich Wilkinson and DawnCheré Wilkerson are consumed with gaining all the wealth and material possessions they can while they live on the earth.
Court papers have been filed against them last year by local artists and they claim that the church “stole their images to use in advertising.” They also claim, “They … lead a high-end, materialistic lifestyle filled with designer clothing, luxury cars and yachts, and upscale parties, restaurants and nightclubs.”
Kim Kardashian West posted this personal note on her View Store page, “A percentage of the proceeds from all my auctions will benefit The Vous. The Rendezvous is a weekly gathering for young adults to come together to worship God and connect with others. Music, teaching, discipleship, and the arts are the catalyst used to encourage and inspire this generation to live for Christ. The Wilkerson’s honest and upfront approach brings a fresh viewpoint and clarity to life’s issues. To learn more, visit thevous.com”

When Kim Kardashian posted her nude selfie on Instagram and she challenged others to post a nude selfie as well. Bette Midler posted a Tweet that seemed to infuriate Kim. She wrote a diss Tweet to Bette and then Bette accused her of not being able to take a joke. However, Bette posted a fake nude selfie of herself and she tried to make Kim Kardashian realize that she could put her nude selfies to work and help others.
Bette donates to the Stages For Success and this charity raises money to help rebuild school auditoriums that are run down.
“.@KimKardashian Put your selfie to work…for a good cause! Donate, RT, I’ll match $$ 2-1!”
Bette never received a response from Kim Kardashian West, so Bette went a bit further in her dig when she posted another tweet. “I wanted @KimKardashian to donate to #StagesForSuccess; she’s a brilliant businesswoman. I know this because her ‘back-end’ is enormous. ”
What do you think about Kim Kardashian West only donating 10 percent of her eBay profits and it goes to a church that supports the rich and famous?
