Here’s How You Can Win A Day On Set With Chris Pratt And The Cast Of ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy 2’

Chris Pratt and the makers of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 have recently released a video with an exciting promotion: Win a day on set with the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy 2!

Pratt also gave a tour of the set as he talked up the promotion, getting fans excited for the fundraiser.

“Hey guys. Chris Pratt here,” he begins while polishing a menacing-looking futuristic blaster. “I’m going to get right to it. I want to make you the next guardian of the galaxy.”

He and the crew have teamed up with Omaze, a company famed for making fans’ dreams come true, to offer a chance to win a day on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

This promotion has two purposes. The first is marketing, which will get more people excited about the upcoming film and get more fans engaged with the feature production. The second is to raise money for charity.

“It’s also a chance for us to support the Lake Stevens Boys and Girls Club and build them an entire youth center from the ground up,” he said, showing a picture of a few of the children from the organization.

The Lake Stevens Boys and Girls Club is a youth program located in Lake Stevens, Washington, which is Chris Pratt’s hometown. The organization has never had a dedicated center for youth to go after school, and donations to this campaign will go toward building a place where kids can hang out, play games, watch movies, and avoid getting into trouble.

Following the exciting announcement, Chris offered to give a virtual tour of the set during the course of the video, showing a brief sneak peak of what it will be like for the winner.

He begins in the costume warehouse, showing some of the designers hard at work. He also stops at a bin labeled “Rejected Chris Pratt ideas,” exclaiming that he designs costumes as well.

“Have you guys started working on this one, yet?” he calls to the designers, holding up a crayon drawing of a superhero.

“Sure thing, Star-Lord,” they joke back.

He also offers a “forbidden” look at some of the props, even though he expressly promises an unknown voice on set that he won’t show off the props.

“You can put this helmet on and punch me in the face. That’s a promise,” he says holding up his Star-Lord helmet. “It’s for the kids.”

After crashing a golf cart, he moves on to the green screen and tries to spoil the secret of who Star-Lord’s father is before writer and director James Gunn tells him to stop.

Essentially, Chris Pratt promises to give the set visitors pretty much everything they want on the set, including an actor’s chair, a golf cart, and a ride on a forklift before admitting that he actually doesn’t have any authority to make those promises.

See the video and Chris Pratt’s silly antics for yourself.

But he does make one promise he can actually keep, which is giving you your very own mixtape cassette and a Walkman to play it on. What can you expect from a guy who was abducted by aliens in the 90s and clings for dear life to his childhood?

All you have to do according to Pratt is go to Omaze.com/Chris and donate to the charity. Everyone who enters will have a chance to win all kinds of “loot” like T-shirts and music.

Then, one lucky winner will be selected to win the trip to see the set of Marvel’s next intergalactic film, which is set to come out in May of 2017. The trip will include airfare to Atlanta plus housing in a four-star hotel for the duration of the stay, a behind-the-scenes tour of the film, a tour of the Milano, and lunch with Chris Pratt.

It doesn’t take much to enter. A single $10 donation will get you 100 chances to win the vacation package, and from then on, it’s 10 chances for every dollar spent.

Chris Pratt, Omaze, and the makers of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be offering this promotion until May 3, 2016, when the collection will close and one lucky winner will fly to Atlanta to meet Chris and the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 crew.
