Yolanda Foster Divorce: ‘RHOBH’ Ends Marriage, Brandi Glanville Weighs In As David Foster Moves On With Selma Blair?

Yolanda Foster and her husband of four years, David Foster, announced the end of their marriage in December, 2015, but on new episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the two are still together. That said, there have been a number of signs that the end is near.

During the March 22 episode of the Bravo reality series, Yolanda Foster and her husband were seen packing up their Malibu, California, home (after selling the palatial pad for nearly $20 million), and as they attempted to get their stuff organized, David suggested his wife, who said she was getting tired, go back to her condo.

Meanwhile, in addition to the somewhat tense moment between David and Yolanda Foster at their former home, Yolanda Foster spoke highly of her husband during an appearance at the Lyme Disease Gala in New York City.

“Thank you to my courageous husband for making actions speak louder than words, and standing by me during this painful and very unromantic journey,” Yolanda Foster said during her speech, via an Us Weekly report on March 22.

Later on, Yolanda Foster was seen meeting with Brandi Glanville in Los Angeles, and after their chat, Glanville opened up about her friend’s strained marriage. After Yolanda Foster informed Glanville that things between her and David had been a “challenge,” and that “it’s hard on him not having a wife,” Glanville noted the change in their marriage.

“[Yolanda Foster] used to be David’s everything,” Glanville said. “She used to take care of David, she did everything for him.”

After an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills earlier this month showed David expressing doubt in their marriage while chatting with his friend, Tom, Yolanda Foster took to her blog, where she spoke of divorce — and her decision to change her last name back to Hadid once she and David’s marriage is legally ended.

“A divorce, regardless of how it happens, is still the closing of the chapter, a separation from your life partner,” Yolanda Foster wrote on March 15. “We can’t help but feel the loss and wonder when and how things went wrong. Long-term illness brings challenging hurdles to a home, a family and a marriage. It affects many lives, but I have to believe we’ve all done the best we can. Rather then [sic] getting stuck on what went wrong, I choose to focus on what was right and cherish the many great memories we shared.”

“And finally, I will address the latest hot topic. My last name,” Yolanda Foster continued to fans. “Let me share some of the ‘footprints’ leading up to this to help clarify unnecessary confusion. I chose to keep my married name for my children when their father and I separated in 2000. It was important to them and we decided this as a family. When I married David, I honored his and went by both. I was Yolanda Hadid-Foster, and now I have dropped Foster for obvious reasons. Honoring my children’s wishes on this subject is important to me.”

Earlier this month, as Us Weekly revealed, Yolanda Foster’s soon-to-be ex-husband, David, was seen on a date with Selma Blair, but at this point, it is unclear how serious the relationship between them is, if it is serious at all.
