Hailey Baldwin Discusses The People She Loves Amid Justin Bieber Drama
Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber have raised questions about a possible romance for months, but over the weekend, Bieber appeared to profess his ongoing feelings for Selena Gomez. So, where does that leave the 19-year-old model?
Although Hailey Baldwin hasn’t spoken publicly about Bieber’s Instagram post to Gomez, she has been going about her life as usual, and even stepped out in a Bieber hoodie just days ago to support him at his Los Angeles concert. She’s also shared a new tweet, in which she appears to be staying positive about her future.

On March 21, following Bieber’s Instagram message to Gomez, a Hollywood Life report suggested the 22-year-old singer may be attempting to win back Gomez while still romancing Hailey Baldwin. According to the report, Bieber made it clear that his ex-girlfriend was on his mind just one day before Hailey Baldwin was seen hanging out with his mother, Pattie Mallette, at his Staples Center performance.

Hailey Baldwin and Bieber went public with their romance at the end of last year when Bieber treated Baldwin to a trip to Anguilla with his family. During the former couple’s vacation, Hailey Baldwin and Bieber posed for a number of photos together, many of which were shared on Bieber’s Instagram page. Then, after they returned to Los Angeles, things between them appeared to go from romantic to friendly as Bieber began stepping out with a number of other women, including Kourtney Kardashian, whom he’d been linked to weeks prior.

Following Bieber’s interview with GQ, Hailey Baldwin confirmed what he had told the magazine, revealing their relationship was non-exclusive weeks ago.
“We are not an exclusive couple. He’s about to go on tour,” Hailey Baldwin explained to E! News during an event in New York City last month. “Relationships at this age are already complicated, but I don’t really like to talk about it because it’s between me and him.”
“The thing is, I live a very public life and I have to keep things personal or else I have no personal life. It’s very difficult,” Hailey Baldwin continued. “I am very open on social media, but that’s why I don’t like to talk about certain things. It really is my personal business. And I like to think my relationships are not between me the person and the whole entire world. It’s hard. I don’t think people are really able to understand if they’re not in that position.”
According to Bieber’s interview, he wasn’t willing to commit to Hailey Baldwin, or any other woman, due to his hectic Purpose World Tour schedule, which keeps him out of Los Angeles for weeks at a time.
“Right now in my life, I don’t want to be held down by anything. I already have a lot that I have to commit to. A lot of responsibilities,” he explained. “I don’t want to feel like the girl I love is an added responsibility. I know that in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them.”
