Kanye West really got his groove on at Justin Bieber’s Purpose tour concert in Los Angeles on Monday. When Justin Bieber started performing “What Do You Mean?,” West really got into it as he danced and sang along to his heart’s content, as reported in EW. West came with his wife, Kim Kardashian, who documented the affair via numerous Snapchat videos.
One of Kim Kardashian’s Snapchat videos shows the American rapper really getting loose. It’s certainly no surprise, given the fact that Kanye recently named Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” his favorite song of 2015.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are having such a great time at Justin Bieber’s Purpose tour show that they even indulged themselves with a Snapchat video selfie. In the video, Kim lip-synced the lyrics “as young as you love me,” as Kanye gave the camera a cold stare before flashing a grin.
This is not the first time Kim posted a Snapchat video of Yeezy grooving to Bieber’s music. Last week, she shared a video of Kanye dancing and singing along to “What Do You Mean?” while sitting on the driver’s seat of their car.
Interestingly, Kourtney Kardashian, who has been romantically linked to Justin Bieber early this year, was also seen at the concert.
West’s love for the song has become the stuff of memes for some time now. Six months ago, Justin himself posted a video of Kanye dancing at the VMAs with “What Do You Mean?” playing in the background. In reality, he was dancing to The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” at the time.
Justin Bieber took to Twitter to thank Kanye West for attending his Purpose concert and for being one of his inspirations.
Ironically, Justin’s show of appreciation for West came just a few days after he dissed the rapper following his Staples Center show on Sunday. After grabbing the microphone at the 1 OAK nightclub in LA, Bieber joked, “‘I’m not gonna give like a 30-minute speech. I’m not Kanye West.”
“I love Kanye. I only got a little bit to give though.” Bieber added. ”All I’m gonna say is let’s have a good night, let’s enjoy ourselves. Let’s be ourselves. I think the thing the world struggles with most is just being ourselves. I think people hate on people that just are themselves. ‘Maybe I’m drunk. Maybe I’m just speaking real s**t. But I feel like a lot of the reason why so many people hate on me is cause I’m just myself.’ “
Justin Bieber’s Twitter shout-out to Kanye wasn’t the only time he showed his appreciation for the rapper. During his NME interview last November, Bieber spoke at length on how Kanye West inspired him to reinvest his career. Considering how Bieber’s life spiraled out of control in 2014 and how he picked himself up since then, he does have a lot to thank Kanye for.
“Out of anyone in the industry who is creative, he really gets me,” Bieber said of West. “His advice is always just, ‘Make music that’s so good people can’t hate on it.’ “
“I didn’t wanna bore him or waste his time. So I was like, ‘Can I play you these songs?’ and he was like, ‘I wanna hear everything.’ To hear him say that, it just showed that he cared,” Justin added.
