Rupert Sander’s Wife Demands The Director Not Work On ‘Huntsman 2’ Film With Kristen Stewart

Rupert Sander’s wife, Liberty Ross, has demanded the famed director not work on “The Huntsman 2” with Kristen Stewart if he wants to save their marriage. Liberty Ross, a former British model, issued the “stern warning” to Rupert Sanders in the days following the release of a photo showing a kiss shared between Kristen Stewart and “The Huntsman” director, Radar Online reports.

“The Huntsman 2” became a project-in-the-making relatively quickly after “The Snow White and the Huntsman” became a huge box office success. Rupert Sanders was tapped to direct the sequel with Kristen Stewart, but has not yet signed a contract to work on the movie, according to Radar Online. If Liberty Ross has her way, Rupert Sanders will not be working closely with Kristen Stewart on a movie anytime soon.

Universal Pictures is reportedly now considering putting a new name on the back of the director’s chair. Whether or not the opinion of Liberty Ross had any influence on the alleged possible change of directors for “The Snow White and the Huntsman” sequel remains to be seem. IMDB reports “The Huntsman 2” is in the works and has yet to remove Rupert Sanders name as director on the “Snow White” sequel.

“Liberty let it be known in no uncertain terms that Rupert can’t direct the sequel to ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’,” a source told Radar Online.

The source claiming to be close to Rupert Sanders and Liberty Ross also noted that Sanders “knows his actions were inexcusable” and that adhering to his wife’s thoughts on directing “The Huntsman 2” is a wise decision. If the decision comes down to having either Kristen Stewart or Rupert Sanders attached to the “Snow White and the Huntsman” sequel, Universal Pictures will likely go with keeping the star power and not recasting the role of “Snow White” for “The Huntsman 2.”
