Did Miranda Lambert Cheat On Blake Shelton?

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton parted ways in July, 2015, after four years of marriage, but was the end of the country singer’s relationship as amicable as it seemed? According to Gwen Stefani, who was reportedly cheated on by her former husband, Gavin Rossdale, Shelton went through “literally” the exact same thing.

While Stefani didn’t come right out and say that Miranda Lambert cheated on Shelton as Rossdale reportedly did to her, the 46-year-old mother of three certainly hinted at such, which has led to plenty of swirling reports online — especially considering there were reports stating such when Miranda Lambert and her ex-husband parted ways.

As she recalled the start of her relationship with Shelton, Stefani explained that as she recovered from the shock of her split from Rossdale, she found solace in Shelton, who was dealing with the same fallout after the end of his marriage to Miranda Lambert.

“[Shelton] had been going through literally the exact same thing in literally the exact same time frame,” Stefani told the New York Times earlier this month.

In July, 2015, as news of Miranda Lambert’s divorce hit the web, the 32-year-old country singer was accused of cheating on Shelton with his close friend, Jamey Johnson, in 2007, and embarked on a number of infidelities in the years that followed. Although the Star report appeared to be fairly far-fetched at the time, over half of Hollywood Life‘s readers believed it may have been true.

There was also another report shared by TMZ, which alleged both parties had accused each other of cheating. However, when it came to Miranda Lambert, she was accused of cheating on her husband with another country star whose name was not mentioned.

In addition to hinting at possibile infidelity, Stefani also appeared to diss Miranda Lambert on her song “Rare,” from her just-released new album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like.

“I won’t be dumb to give perfection up. You’re rare and only a stupid girl would let you go,” Stefani sings, presumably to Shelton, on the track, according to a report by Hollywood Life on March 17.

As for whether or not Shelton will tell all about his split from Miranda Lambert in his own album, which is expected to hit stores in the coming weeks, it doesn’t sound that way.

“It’s not like there’s all these juicy details [in the record], but [country music] lends itself to emotions and things that you go through when you go through a divorce and, more so, the getting over that and moving on and finding someone else,” Shelton explained to CMT Cody.

Shelton moved on from Miranda Lambert to Stefani in November of last year as the two filmed the ninth season of The Voice, and ever since, the couple’s relationship has been a hot topic for the media. Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert’s own romance with singer Anderson East has been kept much more private.

“The last year and a half of my life has literally blown up in my face,” Shelton said of his rocky times. “That’s OK because I’m a country singer, and I at least get to take all that and put it into music… [I] couldn’t be happier with the way ‘Came Here to Forget’ has [taken] off.”

Miranda Lambert and East began dating at the end of last year, and appear to be dating currently.
