Did Jeremy Calvert Just Diss Leah Messer Via Retweet? Plus, His Girlfriend Brooke Wehr Will Be Seen On ‘Teen Mom 2’

Jeremy Calvert shared a retweet with fans on March 21, which seemed to be aimed at his ex-wife, Leah Messer. Ahead of tonight’s Teen Mom 2 Season 7 premiere, Jeremy Calvert looked back on one of his former partner’s most infamous parenting fails.

In the scene photographed above, Jeremy Calvert and Messer were en route to one of Aleeah’s cheerleading events, when the many items in Messer’s vehicle began toppling onto their 3-year-old daughter, Adalynn, who was positioned in her car seat in the back of the car.

The car had been so jam-packed with the family’s items that there was hardly any room for their kids, which made Jeremy Calvert highly upset — and highly confused. Because his then-wife wasn’t working or going to school at the time, he wondered why she simply couldn’t make time to empty their vehicle.

A few episodes later, Jeremy Calvert and Messer parted ways amid rumors of what he labeled a “prescription pill problem,” and while Messer eventually went to treatment, claiming to be suffering from anxiety and depression, he opted to follow through with the divorce and ultimately moved on with Brooke Wehr.

Then, following a brief split from Wehr late last year, Jeremy Calvert was rumored to be in talks for a reconciliation with his ex-wife.

After the rumors of a reunion between Jeremy Calvert and Messer hit the web, a source quickly revealed there was no truth to the reports.

“There’s no way in hell [Jeremy Calvert] wants to be back with Leah,” a source told the Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “They rarely text, and when they do it’s only about Addie.”

While Messer has often said that she and Jeremy Calvert are on good terms, that doesn’t appear to be the case, especially after his latest retweet. And when it comes to her claims about Jeremy Calvert hating Corey Simms, her first husband, that is certainly not the case, as was evident over the weekend when the two men enjoyed a double date in New York City with Wehr and Simms’ wife, Miranda.

“Brooke is really different from Leah and [Jeremy Calvert] is really happy with her,” the source explained. “They have a lot of fun together. They’re in no rush to live together or anything like that,” the source said. “They both have daughters, so they want to make sure that they are going to last before they move in together and get the kids involved.”

Although Jeremy Calvert’s career often got in the way of his marriage to Messer, he has since taken a different position at his company, which requires much less traveling.

“He’s still working in the pipe lining business, but this position means less traveling for Jeremy, which is good for his relationship with Brooke,” the source revealed. “It will also give Jeremy a lot more time with his daughter.”

On March 21, Jeremy Calvert exchanged a couple of flirty messages on Twitter.

“I’m a lucky girl.. wouldn’t have it any other way,” Wehr wrote in response to Jeremy Calvert saying she made him happy in “so many ways.”

“No baby I’m one lucky guy, your amazing!!!!!” Jeremy Calvert responded.

Jeremy Calvert’s girlfriend, Wehr, was not filmed for Season 6, but will be seen during Season 7.
