Adam Levine Heads To Rio Without Pregnant Wife Behati Prinsloo As Report Claims He Won’t Quit ‘The Voice’

Adam Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, are currently expecting their first child together, but unfortunately, it appears as though they are celebrating their baby news separately. With Prinsloo living in New York City full-time, Levine is in Los Angeles filming The Voice, and recently left the west coast and headed to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

According to a March 20 report by Radar Online, Adam Levine arrived in South America this weekend, but his wife, Prinsloo, was nowhere to be seen. Instead, Adam Levine was accompanied by his Maroon 5 bandmates, and played a number of shows after flying from Sao Paulo to Rio.

As the report revealed, Adam Levine and his wife haven’t been seen together at all since their baby news was revealed, but that isn’t too out-of-the-ordinary for the celebrity couple. That said, there is no reason to think Adam Levine and Prinsloo are on the verge of a split, as Prinsloo wished her hubby a happy birthday just days ago.

“Happy birthday to the love of my life!” Prinsloo wrote. “Everything is boring and meaningless without you!!! #besthusband.”

Adam Levine and Prinsloo began dating in May, 2012, but parted ways the following year. During this time, Adam Levine was linked to model Nina Adgal, but a couple of months later, he and Prinsloo were back on, and in July, 2013, they became engaged. One year later, Adam Levine and Prinsloo were married in Mexico.

Just prior to Adam Levine’s baby news, a report was shared by Life & Style, via Hollywood Life, which claimed the rocker would be leaving the NBC series to tend to his upcoming daddy duties after Season 10.

“[Adam Levine] has had enough of The Voice,” a source close to the singer allegedly told the magazine, adding that Adam Levine was planning to go out on a high note and “make this his final season.”

Adam Levine and wife Prinsloo “really want to start a family,” the source told Life & Style. Plus, “he doesn’t want to stick around until the show is in decline.”

The source also said that despite Adam Levine’s rumored plans to leave the show, he was “open to revisiting the show in a couple of years as a mentor.”

Luckily, a short time later, a second source denied the report, claiming Adam Levine had no plans to quit the show.

“[Adam Levine] would stay with The Voice and will stay with The Voice even if he becomes a father,” an insider told Hollywood Life earlier this month. “The amount of time he would have to be away really wouldn’t be that much. He could easily do both. The Voice schedule would offer no neglect to family duties and he would be able to do it because The Voice would be accommodating to all of his needs. They would all be able to work out a proper schedule to make it all work out. ”

Adam Levine’s baby news was first confirmed by Us Weekly on March 10. At the time, the magazine claimed multiple sources had shared news of Adam Levine’s baby, and noted Prinsloo to be three to four months along.

In regard to their pregnancy news, both Adam Levine and Prinsloo have remained tight-lipped, choosing not to confirm or deny the news with their fans.

For more Adam Levine, tune into The Voice Season 10, airing on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.
