Plane Crash Leaves No Survivors, But Three Skipped FlyDubai And Cheated Death

A plane crash during a landing in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don left no survivors, but three lucky people who were supposed to be on board are thankful they didn’t take the flight, as they are still alive because of their decisions and circumstances.

According to RT, the FlyDubai FZ981 flight ended in massive tragedy when it took 62 passengers’ lives, but three other lives were spared because they were not on board when the flight crashed.

Unfortunately, the tragedy was not completely escaped for one man who missed his flight because of a lost passport. He, his wife, and their friends were to vacation in Dubai, but the man lost his passport and could not fly without it. However, his wife and their friends decided to continue on without him, and they lost their lives in the plane crash. Though the man now has his life because of a lost passport, he now suffers the loss of his wife and friends.

Another person, Elvira Isaeva, was planning to vacation in the United Arab Emirates. She was out partying with friends the night before her flight and slept in the next day, missing her flight and thus escaping the plane crash.

“When I woke up and turned on the news, I was horrified. I do not know, is it my luck, a guardian angel watching over me or my mother’s prayers, but I’m in dismay…I’m hurt and terrified by what happened there. There were people who came here with me, who I spent time here with,” Isaeva said.

Then there was the woman from Rostov who was to vacation in Dubai with relatives and friends. She canceled the plans to vacation there at the last minute, but her family and friends did not. Four people she knew died in the plane crash, leaving the woman in a state of shock.

Other relatives and friends of those who died in the plane crash wished their loved ones would have found a reason not to board the plane. They gathered at the airport in Rostov-on-Don where they placed flowers in memory of those they lost in the plane crash. So many people were emotional and could not hide their grief.

The 62 passengers and crew lost their lives when the plane hit the ground and broke into pieces, according to Al Jazeera. There was a large explosion during the plane crash. The crashed plane was thought to be a Boeing 737 operated by Emirati airline FlyDubai.

It is still unknown why the flight ended with a plane crash, but the FlyDubai plane was in the air for about two hours and made two attempts to land. Some reports claim the plane landed just short of the runway. It is possible that weather could have contributed to the plane crash.
