The following is the Hunting Season Lifetime movie plot, according to Red Arrow International.

In Hunting Season‘s movie plot, we meet Samantha and Mike Davis, a couple who is under a lot of pressure to conceive a child together. So when Samantha hears that her grandmother has left her a house in the country, it seems like a pleasant surprise that will give her a much needed break from thinking about a baby. The thing is — Samantha was raised by her grandmother and has never heard anything about the mysterious house that has been in the family for the past three decades. Puzzled by the home’s history, Samantha decides to do a little digging to find out why this home was kept a secret. Meanwhile, her husband, Mike, is trying to find out how to make money off of the home and believes that selling it will be the best thing to do.

As Samantha busies herself with fixing up the 30-year old property, she comes across an old box filled with photos and home videos of family members that she doesn’t recognize. Troubled by what she’s found, Samantha decides to go to the local library, where she comes across information that indicates that her parents did not die in a fire as she was led to believe — and that something more devastating happened all of those years ago. Could the town sheriff know more about the three-decade old mystery? And could Samantha’s research of the family’s history put her in danger?
