Chris Brown Teases New ‘Dead Wrong’ Track On Instagram, Fans Beg For ‘After The Party’ Release

Chris Brown may have released his seventh studio album, Royalty, just three months ago, but it looks like Brown has already been working on some new music for eager fans.

After a nearly one-month delay in Royalty‘s previously scheduled November release last year, Chris Brown surprised fans with the release of a 34-song mixtape, titled Before the Party, which contains features from Wiz Khalifa, Fetty Wap, French Montana, Rihanna, and Tyga, Hot New Hip Hop reports.

Despite the abundance of new music from the “Loyal” singer following his latest album release, Chris Brown has been actively teasing some new tracks on his Periscope and Instagram accounts over the past few weeks.

Most recently, Chris Brown took to Instagram on Saturday, March 19, to share a series of video snippets of himself performing a new track reportedly titled, “Dead Wrong,” while showing off his signature dance moves.

In the video clips, Brown can be seen sporting a new hairdo while belting out the lyrics to his new track, singing, “You say you love someone / And I’ve been that one,” Rap-Up reports.

While it’s unclear whether or not Brown’s new track is intended as a single-release, the plethora of new-music teasers from Chris Brown has ignited rumors that the singer is working on a follow-up to his Before the Party mixtape, which fans have appropriately dubbed After the Party.

In January, Chris Brown previewed some of his rumored After the Party tracks via Periscope, including tracks reportedly titled, “You Make Me This Way,” “I Would,” and “Undressin’,” Rap-Up reports.

The news comes just days after Chris Brown revealed to fans via Instagram that he has a new documentary in the works, although there is currently little information available regarding the documentary’s release.

The official documentary, titled Welcome To My Life, is directed by Andrew Sandler and produced by Riveting Entertainment and is said to document how Brown went from “America’s sweetheart” to “public enemy number one,” leading to speculation that the documentary may address his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend, Rihanna, Hot New Hip Hop reports.

In addition to announcing his new documentary, Chris Brown took to Twitter earlier this week to announce that his “One Hell Of A Night Tour” has added several new dates in Europe for May/June 2016, including dates in Frankfurt, Oslo, Stockholm, and Luxembourg, to name a few.

While it may seem that Chris Brown has his plate full with a rumored mixtape, documentary project, and tour, the singer was also spotted filming for a new music video while in Hermosa Beach, California, on Tuesday.

According to reports, the video in question is for his collaborative track, “Paradise,” alongside Benny Benassi, although there’s currently no word on when the video is set to release.

Earlier this year, Chris Brown made headlines for his “Back To Sleep (Remix)” collaboration with Usher and Zayn Malik, which made its way to the 20th spot on the Billboard Hot 100 yesterday. While the trio have yet to perform their headline-making hit live, Brown recently announced his plans to perform at next month’s iHeartRadio Music Awards, where collaborator Zayn Malik is also set to perform, leading to speculation that the duo may perform a rendition of their “Back To Sleep (Remix)” during the annual awards show.
