‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6, Episode 15: Who Gets Shot In ‘East’?

The Walking Dead season 6, episode 15 is a little more than one week away, but one TWD spoiler for “East” has already been revealed. One character will get shot in the March 27 episode. Who gets hit with a bullet and by whom? Does the TWD character live or die? What else happens with Rick’s group in The Walking Dead?

Although AMC has tried to keep a lid on The Walking Dead spoilers during the second half of season 6, certain information is still being leaked. One tidbit that was revealed months ago by The Spoiling Dead Fans is Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) having a gun pointed at his head by Austin Amelio’s character, Dwight. At the time of the TWD spoiler post, fans believed that Daryl would die on The Walking Dead season 6. However, new information has been released about a scene in episode 15. If the details are accurate, then it isn’t Daryl who dies in “East,” but another TWD character.

As previously reported by Inquisitr, Denise (Merritt Wever) dies in The Walking Dead season 6, episode 14, airing March 20 on AMC. It is speculated that Denise’s death is caused by Dwight using Daryl’s crossbow. This explains why Daryl is so determined to track down Dwight and get revenge “for her” in episode 15. Not only will Daryl want to get vengeance for Denise’s death, but he also wants his beloved crossbow back. However, the hunt for Dwight will lead to a violent confrontation and another TWD character will reportedly die in “East.”

According to a TWD fan in The Walking Dead forums website, it is Rosita (Christian Serratos) who gets shot in “East,” not Daryl. Apparently, Daryl and Dwight face off and during the confrontation, Rosita ends up being struck by a bullet. It is not known if Rosita dies on The Walking Dead, but if she does, will Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) feel any guilt for how he broke her heart?

The Walking Dead season 6, episode 15 spoilers also reveal that Daryl will get his crossbow back. However, that won’t be the end of Dwight. According to IMDB, actor Austin Amelio lists several TWD episodes in his credits, including “East” and The Walking Dead season 6 finale.

In The Walking Dead comic books, Rosita died, but in a different way. She was in a relationship with Eugene, but pregnant with another man’s baby. In the comics, Rosita and her unborn child were killed by Alpha, leader of The Whisperers. As far as TWD fans know, Rosita is not pregnant in The Walking Dead TV show. Instead, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Glenn (Steven Yeun) are expecting a child. This makes some fans wonder if Maggie will be killed by Negan and the Saviors in the season 6 finale, despite the villain’s policy in the comics of not murdering women or children.

“[Hearing] the word ‘finale’ gives me a physical reaction because it’s the hardest day on set that I’ve ever had in my life. I never even imagined that as an actor you could have that experience,” Lauren Cohen told Entertainment Weekly in regard to The Walking Dead season 6 finale. “It’s one of the most raw experiences that I think any of us have ever had. Andy [Andrew Lincoln] talks about being late to work; I didn’t want to go to work that day. It took a really, really long time for everybody to feel okay again after the finale, let’s put it that way.”
