Dylan O’Brien Update After Accident On ‘Maze Runner’ Set

News came out yesterday that Dylan O’Brien of Teen Wolf was injured while on the set of his new movie, The Maze Runner. Us Weekly Magazine shared the news about Dylan and how he is doing now a little over 24 hours from the accident. His fans have been very concerned about Dylan since they heard that the accident happened to him yesterday. Now, director Wes Ball is speaking out on Twitter and sharing how Dylan O’Brien is doing, and how this will affect filming of the movie.

Here is what Wes Ball had to say about Dylan O’Brien and how he is doing now. Fans really appreciate that he is updating them on the status of Dylan.

“Well, it’s been a whirlwind of emotions these past few days. I’ve been overwhelmed with feelings of anger and sadness and guilt. But, ultimately I find myself left with just a deep love and respect for Dylan. He is one tough cookie.”

Dylan O’Brien was injured on the set of the movie The Maze Runner: The Death Cure. This is the third movie in the franchise. After it all went down, Dylan O’Brien was taken to a local hospital to be treated. Wes Ball also spoke out to Us Weekly Magazine to share the details of how he was doing right after it happened.

“I’m sorry for the grief this accident has caused his friends and family as well as my wonderful cast and crew. It’s scary seeing your friend get hurt, but fortunately, Dylan is going to be just fine. After a few weeks of rest and recovery he will be back up and running to finish our adventure together. All the best.”

The Maze Runner: The Death Cure is supposed to be coming out in 2017. The fans would be very disappointed if it didn’t come out as planned, but making sure that Dylan is okay is the most important thing right now. Since Dylan O’Brien will be to be back filming in just a few weeks, the fact that he was injured shouldn’t put them too far behind schedule.

Hollywood Life shared a few more details about what happened to Dylan O’Brien yesterday on the set. It was originally reported that Dylan was run over on set, but now it appears that he actually fell off the back of a set that was supposed to look like the back of a train and fractured either his cheekbone or orbital socket. They did shut down production on the movie while Dylan O’Brien recuperates.

TeenWolf fans are curious if this is going to affect the show at all. Dylan O’Brien is busy filming the movie right now and Teen Wolf is on hiatus. This means that hopefully O’Brien will be doing fine and back to working again in plenty of time for the next season of the hit MTV show.

At this time, Dylan O’Brien is not tweeting to his fans. Fans are stalking his Twitter in hopes of something. He recently did retweet something, and on March 8 he shared a tweet about his show Teen Wolf.
