‘Bachelor’ Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Reveal Travel Plans, Share Their Love Story On Snapchat

It’s been a busy week for Ben Higgins and his bride-to-be, Lauren Bushnell. A post-show media tour took up most of their free time after the Bachelor season finale aired, but now the newly-engaged couple is ready to start their real lives without a camera following them around.

Where are Ben and the future Mrs. Higgins off to next and when will they start planning their wedding? Here’s the scoop — straight from the Bachelor himself.

On Saturday, the Denver resident filled his fans in on their upcoming travel plans and surprised his Twitter followers with the news that Lauren now has Snapchat. The couple will be using her account to share their love story as Lauren prepares to move from California to Denver in the coming weeks.

Although their photos on social media show that they had an amazing time together in the Big Apple — including a romantic dinner at Chef Marc Murphy’s Landmarc restaurant and a Broadway show — their next stop is all about family time. The couple is looking forward to enjoying what Ben referred to as “us time” during an interview on the Today Show.

On Saturday, Ben revealed on Instagram that he flew to Warsaw, Indiana, with Lauren to spend time with his parents and attend a fundraiser at the Baker Youth Club, the site of one of the couple’s one-on-one dates.

According to the Indianapolis Star, Ben volunteered there before he moved to Denver and spent time doing homework, swimming, and playing basketball with the kids. The $75-per-person fundraiser takes place on March 25 — fans who are in the area will have a chance to meet Ben and Lauren while donating to a good cause, but Ben notes that tickets are selling out quickly.

“Can’t wait for you to meet ‘my person’ Lauren!” Ben wrote on the BYC Facebook page. “We will be at the BYC charity event Friday March 25! Table sponsor seats are sold out and they are down to 100 general seating tickets!”

What’s next for Ben and Lauren after they spend time in Warsaw? Aside from celebrating his 28th birthday on March 23 (perhaps at home with his parents?), don’t expect to see the couple spending their free time promoting products and making paid appearances like other Bachelor alums have done.

During an interview with AOL Build, the future Mr. and Mrs. Higgins talked about going back to work (yes, they have real jobs) after Lauren moves from California to Ben’s home in Colorado.

Lauren works as a flight attendant and although she took time off to while filming The Bachelor, she states that she loves her job and plans on going back after she moves to Denver. As far as Ben’s job with Talisys in Denver, he told the audience at the AOL Build event that he has been working for them “off and on” while filming both the Bachelorette and the Bachelor “to keep insurance.”

Once Ben and Lauren get settled in Denver, fans can expect to get details on their upcoming wedding. It appears that they are going to beat the Bachelor odds and tie the knot soon. Ben tells Today that he wants to “marry Lauren quickly” and will get his friends and family involved in planning the celebration.

Would you like to see Ben Higgins marry Lauren Bushnell on a Bachelor wedding special, or do you think they should just enjoy their private lives now that the show is over?
