‘RHOC’ Star Vicki Gunvalson Finally Ready To Take Legal Action Against Cancer Scammer Brooks Ayers?

Vicki Gunvalson has finally had enough of Brooks Ayers and his lies. The Real Housewives of Orange County star has filed suit against her former boyfriend to prevent him from leaking any more information about her personal life. Will her legal recourse have any impact on Gunvalson’s ability to repair her own image?

According to Radar Online, Ayers is currently trying to sell his version of what went down last season, though nobody has agreed to his price. As fans will recall, Ayers lied about having cancer throughout the entire season of the reality series while Gunvalson stuck by his side.

However, towards the end of last season, Gunvalson suddenly switched sides after it became more and more apparent that Ayers was lying about his cancer. Since then, Gunvalson and Ayers have parted ways, though the latter has continued to threaten to expose his secrets about Gunvalson’s knowledge of the scandal.

In response, Gunvalson’s team of lawyers have tried their best to silence Ayers. This includes filing legal documents to prevent Ayers from saying anything on air.

“Vicki’s legal team has already fired off a cease and desist to Brooks to prevent anything like this from happening,” an inside source told the outlet. “She just wants him to go away. This mess has cost her a lot.”

Clearly, Ayers is trying his best to get something out of all the attention that was thrown his way last season. However, as far as Gunvalson is concerned, the reality star wants nothing to do with his latest drama.

“I don’t want anything to do with Brooks,” Gunvalson explained to Radar Online. “We have been broken up for nine months and I don’t want to talk about his damn cancer.”

Despite Gunvalson’s negative reaction, Reality Tea is reporting that Ayers really wants Gunvalson to be a part of his tell-all interview. Apparently, Ayers has it in his mind that Gunvalson will still back his story even though they have since broken up. Unfortunately for Ayers, it sounds as though Gunvalson is ready to move on with her life and has no desire to revisit old drama.

Meanwhile, filming for the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County has officially started. Most of the ladies from last season are expected to make a return for the new year, including Vicki Gunvalson, who has a lot of work ahead of her if she wants to mend relationships with the other women on the show.

In fact, Gunvalson’s part in Ayers’ scandal has led to a major distrust between her and her co-stars on the show. Some of the co-stars, like Shannon Beador, even wanted Gunvalson off the show because of her apparent involvement in Ayers’ scam. Fortunately for Gunvalson, producers did not feel the same way and have invited her back for another season.

Although Gunvalson has tried to make amends, her apologies haven’t done much to win anyone back, at least not yet. Of course, the new season will feature its own drama, so it shouldn’t take long before Gunvalson starts to make peace with her enemies.

Whatever ends up happening, Gunvalson will likely have to come face to face with the drama from last season at some point before she can fully move forward. Hopefully, this will allow her some space to fully explain what went down between her and Ayers. If it doesn’t, then Ayers tell-all interview, when it airs, might damage Gunvalson beyond repair.

An official premiere date for the new season of the Real Housewives of Orange County has not been set, though the series is expected to air sometime in 2016.
