Lauren Bushnell & Ben Higgins Breakup? Sources Claim Lauren Has Trust Issues With Ben’s Past Relationships

Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins could already be headed for a breakup, with reports claiming that jealousy is tearing apart the Bachelor couple before they even have a chance to get started.

Millions of viewers watched this week as Higgins proposed to Bushnell on national television, and after months of keeping their engagement private the couple was finally able to go public this week. Ben and Lauren went on their first public date, talked about moving in together, and even shared some details of the wedding they are planning.

But amid the seemingly happy couple, there are reports that behind the scenes there are some major problems for Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell. A report from Life & Style magazine claims that Lauren is still upset over Ben’s deep feelings for JoJo Fletcher, who was the runner-up in this season of The Bachelor. Ben shared “I love you” with JoJo, and was seen struggling over his decision between JoJo and Lauren.

Lauren is jealous of other relationships as well, the source claimed.

“Lauren and Ben are already having trust issues. Now that they are finally able to spend time together, if he calls his ex, she is going to freak out, it’s going to start a war,” a source told the outlet (via Celeb Dirty Laundry).

As Celeb Dirty Laundry reported, there are some other problems including other past relationships for Ben Higgins.

“According to a new report from Life & Style magazine, that is just one of the new couple’s many problems. Not only is Lauren B. still upset about the “L Word,” but now Ben’s secret “friendship” with his ex-girlfriend has come to light – and it doesn’t look like it is going to end well. Apparently, Ben’s ex-girlfriend from college is his BFF. While The Bachelor was airing on ABC, Ben and Lauren weren’t allowed to spend much time together, because the network didn’t want spoilers getting leaked. So, Ben used that time to chat on the phone with his ex-girlfriend … for hours.”

It’s not clear how much truth there is to the divorce rumors facing Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins. In all their interviews so far, the couple seems nothing other than loving and excited to start their life together. Lauren even spoke about moving from her home in California to live with Ben in Denver.

“I’m just excited to go grocery shopping together,” Lauren Bushnell told People magazine of moving in with Ben.

She’s also talking about a wedding already.

“Neither of us want a long engagement,” she told People. “I’ve never been the girl to dream about her wedding, but now I’m starting to think about it.”

And it doesn’t seem like they’re just doing it for the cameras. Ben Higgins noted that the couple is ready to start living away from the spotlight.

“The spotlight is not a desire of mine, right?” Higgins told the Associated Press, via Us Weekly. “If it happens, it happens and that’s great and grand and whatever you want to call it. Opportunities? Yeah. I have a great job right now and Lauren has a great job. It’s been fun for us.”

So if there is a breakup coming for Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, the couple seems to be doing a great job throwing fans off their tracks. Or, it could just be unidentified sources spreading rumors about one of the most popular couples of the moment, as so often happens with Bachelor winners.
