Ariana Grande & Ricky Alvarez Getting Serious -- Are They Already Talking Marriage?

Could Ariana Grande and boyfriend Ricky Alvarez be close to an engagement?

Hollywood Life is reporting that Ariana and Ricky have been growing pretty close since they were first spotted together last year and revealed that, although Alvarez isn't quite ready to pop the question right now, things are definitely getting serious between the couple.

"The relationship between the two is great. They really like spending all their available time with each other and they really get each other both emotionally and in the fun department," Hollywood Life's insider revealed this week, adding that Ariana and Ricky "just work" as a couple.

The source was quick to confirm that Grande and Alvarez aren't quite ready to step into marriage just yet, but admitted that their current situation "is very easy to handle for them both."

Reports that Ariana and Ricky are allegedly getting pretty serious comes just days after Grande was spotted celebrating with her man in New York City following her highly-praised appearance on the long-running sketch show Saturday Night Live on March 12.

Entertainment Tonight spotted Ariana and her man getting seriously cozy following Grande's gig, and according to an eyewitness who spoke to the site, the two were "all over each other all night" and didn't leave the party until after 5 a.m.

Grande was also quick to show off her love for Ricky on Snapchat this week, where she gushed over her handsome backing dancer in a series of sweet photos.

Ariana fan @ArianasIndo posted a screen capture of Grande's sweet message to her man on Twitter on March 16, which showed Grande about to plant a kiss on Ricky's cheek alongside the sweet message, "My heart."

But this certainly isn't the first time Grande has professed her love for Ricky on social media.

Ariana also took to Snapchat to show off her relationship back in January, where Grande treated her followers to a number of passionate snaps of herself packing on some serious public display of affection with her boyfriend.

Grande previously teased fans about her and Ricky's relationship on the app when she snapped a photo of Ricky's cheek covered in lipstick and posted it to Snapchat earlier this year. In a screen captured by Ariana fan @lavenderxboca, Grande teased, "Guess whose lips."

Alvarez has also used the social media page to drop hints about his relationship with Grande, posting a shot of Ariana's artwork for her 2015 single "Focus" on his Instagram page on October 14 with the caption, "I mean... I'm already focused. #16days."

Hollywood Life first confirmed that Ariana and Ricky were very much a couple back in July 2015 after an insider close to the two noted at the time that they were "not super serious" but had recently become "exclusive" with their relationship.

"[Their relationship is] very new and they are very comfortable around each other so that is helping things move forward quicker than usual," the site's insider continued last year, who added that it was "easy for them to hang out, get along and be close."

The site also alleged that it was Alvarez's "very touchy feely" nature that lured Ariana in as well as Ricky's tendency to be "very romantic."

E! News also revealed derails on Ariana and Ricky's romance in August, revealing that Grand and Alvarez had "been friends for some time now but have only recently been linked romantically."

"They are keeping their relationship on the down low though and trying to be as private as they can," E! News' source said last year. "[They] couldn't be happier."
