‘The Sims 4’ Spring Events Coming Soon, Collect Growfruit And Hunt Eggs For A Limited Time

Next week, players enjoying The Sims 4 will be able to grow Growfruit and hunt eggs as part of a limited time event. The traditional egg hunt returns alongside a new in-game challenge focused on cultivating Growfruit. Both spring events give players a chance to unlock a few unique items, but both events will only be around for a limited time. Players have a month to grow their Growfruit and find the hidden eggs before the events end.

During the upcoming month, players will be tasked with meeting Jasmine Holiday. Holiday is a new NPC wandering around town looking for someone to start growing Growfruit according to the official site. After speaking with her, Holiday will give a Sim a Growfruit seed. The Sim can take this seed and start growing their own Growfuit, a blue, yellow, and green colored fruit whose properties are currently unknown. The fruit can be plucked from a Growfruit tree grown from the seed that Holiday gives the players. After collecting 20 Growfruit, players can seek Holiday out for a new planter reward. Growing the perfect Growfruit and offering it to Holiday unlocks another planter with fancy jewels on it.

The egg hunt, on the other hand, offers a different task for players to complete. Sims can start wandering our neighborhoods searching for eggs once the patch goes live. This year, 12 eggs are scattered throughout the Sim world just waiting to be found by Sims. Like last year, Sims can find eggs when searching the various objects that spawn on a neighborhood lot. Eggs can be found in fallen logs, where frogs are often found, or in other objects that can be harvested like plants and rocks. When searching, players will sometimes receive an egg and duplicate eggs are definite. Eggs are placed in the collection inventory and collecting all 12 unlocks a stuffed bunny toy.

The spring event update will come to The Sims 4 on March 22. Like all patches for the game, players can find the full patch notes on the EA.com site which will likely be updated the day of the patch. The monthly patch will probably include some other fixes and improvements when the event vendor and eggs go live. Of course, players will need to download the update before these things show up in their game.

Jasmine Holiday and the egg hunt will only be available until sometime next month. Players will need to bring Holiday their Growfruit and collect their eggs before then if they want to unlock the rewards that each event offers. Again, The Sims 4 players can unlock new planters and an adorable stuffed bunny for their efforts in these spring events. Everything a player finds, like the eggs themselves, are permanently unlocked, too. The painted eggs might make a nice addition to colorful rooms no matter the season.

The Sims 4 updates often with patches to fix bugs or introduce new content. Seasonal events like the Growfruit vendor and the egg hunt do come around occasionally giving players a little extra incentive to start the game up. Paid downloadable content is also quite common for The Sims 4 with the latest stuff pack releasing just last month.

The “Romantic Garden Stuff” pack contained a number of items for Sims to wear in addition to outdoor decorations perfect for creating an idyllic landscape. Like all stuff packs for The Sims 4, “Romantic Garden Stuff” is just $9.99 and contains a few gameplay objects.

As the Inquisitr reported, the latest pack includes the Whispering Wishing Well that can provide Sims with random outcomes to their wishes. Over 50 different possibilities can be discovered using the Whispering Wishing Well. Some are great for the wishing Sim while others may not be so beneficial.
