Ben Higgins, Lauren Bushnell Already Thinking About Babies?!
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have been engaged for a few months now, and since the After The Final Rose special aired on ABC, the rumors about their television-made relationship haven’t stopped. It all starts with gossip of a television wedding and usually ends with break-up stories, but the latest chatter took a completely different turn this week. Evidently, some people are wondering if Ben and Lauren are already talking about starting a family. Yes, babies.
According to Us Weekly, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell’s relationship seems to be on the fast-track. Although they haven’t set a wedding date just yet, the two are ready to take that step… and more!
“We laughed about this the other day. I think, what did we say, three kids?” Ben said to Lauren during an interview on Good Morning America on Tuesday.
“I really want three, yeah. So, you agreed, right?” Lauren responded.
“I did agree, just to be safe,” Ben joked.
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell may not be in a rush to have children, but it is clear that it is something that they have both discussed. Naturally, when you meet someone on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, you are forced to have very serious conversations fairly early on in your relationship. If having children is important to one person, but it is not what another person wants, that relationship probably won’t work out. It does seem, however, that Ben and Lauren are on the same page when it comes to starting a family.
On Thursday, Ben and Lauren enjoyed some down time in New York and caught The Lion King on Broadway. Getting a look backstage, Ben snapped the photo below, making another “baby” reference. Check out the caption!
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell want to get married sooner rather than later. According to Today, the couple has been pretty open about their intentions to tie the knot.
“I want to marry Lauren quickly… but I would like to wait a while, get our friends and family involved, make sure it’s something Lauren wants and that I want because we want this to be a celebration,” Ben said.
Rumors have been swirling about a television wedding, also, which seems to be the thing for Bachelor/ette couples. Generally speaking, ABC throws a lavish soiree for couples who fell in love on one of their reality shows, footing the bill and airing the footage in a primetime special. These on-air weddings do swell as far as ratings go, so it is really a win-win for ABC and for the couple.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, however, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell may not have a TV-wedding. The two are reportedly ready to step away from the spotlight at this point and are looking forward to living a more normal life. Having their lives highlighted by every magazine can get exhausting — so a private wedding might be more in line with what these two really want.
“The spotlight is not a desire of mine, right? If it happens, it happens and that’s great and grand and whatever you want to call it. Opportunities? Yeah. I have a great job right now and Lauren has a great job. It’s been fun for us. If this ends right now and we go back to normal, both of us are beyond happy,” Ben said (via Us Weekly).
