Watch Gwen Stefani’s Son Apollo Ask Her Mom’s Fans To Buy New Album

Gwen Stefan is back in the music game — big time.

After 10 years of not releasing new music, Gwen Stefani finally released her much-awaited album This Is What the Truth Feels Like on March 17. The album skyrocketed to the top of the iTunes album charts on its first day.

While her album doesn’t need much of a sales push, Gwen enlisted the help of his 2-year-old son, Apollo, to convince more people to buy the album on iTunes. Of course, it goes without saying that Stefani’s underlying motive for the gesture is so that she can show her adorable son to the world.

Gwen shared the video via Twitter, showing her super adorable son lying on his Star Wars bed and facing the camera.

“Everybody go to iTunes,” little Apollo says to the camera after his pacifier was pulled from his mouth.

“How come?” Gwen asks her son.

“Why?” replies Apollo.

“‘Cause Momma’s record,” Stefani answers.

The little video lasts under 20 seconds, but it’s the cutest video you’ll see on the internet today.

After learning that her album went straight to the top of the album sales charts in many countries, including the U.S., Stefani took to Twitter to thank her fans.

Stefani’s ever supportive boyfriend, Blake Shelton, also went on Twitter to express his excitement for the album’s success and, of course, to congratulate her girlfriend as well.

And Blake followed up his tweet with another to name his favorite song off the album, which is entitled “Rare.” Stefani later alluded in a tweet that the song was about him.

“Hey @gwenstefani… My favorite song on your album is “Rare”.. Just thought I’d let you know, Blake tweeted.

So far, This Is What the Truth Feels Like is getting excellent reviews from numerous music (and non-music) sites on the web. The consensus among most reviews is that this is Gwen Stefani’s best album to date. Perhaps that can be attributed to how her new output drew from her experiences before she made the record, specifically those that involve her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.

As most already know by now, Gwen Stefani filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale in August after 13 years of marriage. It was later revealed that Stefani wanted out of the relationship because Gavin was cheating with their nanny Mindy Mann for years.

Stefani already had her suspicions, which were confirmed when she found sext messages and naked photos the nanny sent to Gavin on an iPad, according to E! Online.

“One of the other nannies went to get the iPad for one of the boys and found texts and photos that Mindy had sent to Gavin,” the source said. “Gavin’s texts were linked to the iPad and could be seen. They talked about meeting up to have sex and she sent naked photos.”

Before long, rumors about Gwen hooking up with The Voice co-host Blake Shelton went its rounds on the web. After the rumors were confirmed by both parties and the couple’s public appearances, Gwen and Blake became the most talked-about celebrity couple in 2015.

What makes This Is What the Truth Feels Like powerful is that it draws on fresh wounds inflicted by her split with Rossdale. In retrospect, Stefani’s writing muse would have eluded her if it weren’t for her ex-husband breaking her heart. That said, Stefani has a lot to celebrate for, thanks to a successful album and a man like Blake Shelton to celebrate it with.
