Devastated Dad Warns Brutal Bullies ‘To Leave His Kids Alone’ And Now Faces A Criminal Investigation For Threatening Behavior

A devastated dad, who, as a last resort, was forced to confront a gang of bullies who had broken his son’s arm and repeatedly beaten his daughter, is now being investigated by the police for threatening behavior after simply telling the bullies to back off.

No one likes a bully, not even a bully, but these loathsome pack animals who are riddled with envy, spite, and self-esteem issues are an unfortunate fact of life.

The best way to deal with a bully is to meet them head on, stand your ground, show no weakness, and tell the to back the hell off. Sadly, this isn’t always possible, and particularly in the case of young children who are subject to the horror and hell of bullying, it’s often impossible.

And as is all too apparent, bullies are like bloodhounds when it comes to sniffing out those most vulnerable to their sadistic methods and means.

So who are our young people to turn too in such testing and trying situations? Well, the first port of call is usually the parent, who can then contact the relevant authorities, such as the school where the bullying is taking place, or if the situation is particularly worrying and actual physical abuse is evident, the police.

In an ideal world, the buck would stop there and the bullies would be warned to cease and desist or face expulsion from school and possible criminal proceedings.

Unfortunately, we don’t live in an ideal world, and things don’t always work as they should, as British dad Christopher Cooper found out much to his dismay and disgust.

The Express reports that Mr. Copper’s 9-year-old son, Braiden, and 11-year-old Millie started a new school in Cumbria and soon suffered repeated and vicious abuse and beatings at the hands of a brutal gang of bullies.

The concerned father repeatedly approached the school to seek help but was dismissed because the incidents were “outside school grounds.”

The devastated dad also explained that his daughter has been left on the verge of an eating disorder due to the incessant bullying, and his son was left with a broken arm. Both kids, he said, have changed personalities due to their nightmarish ordeals.

“As a father I’ve been left devastated by all of this, watching their personalities change, their love for school diminish, watching the fear as my son was put to sleep, to undergo surgery.”

In a Facebook post and a plea for understanding, Mr. Copper explained the frustration he felt.

“My two youngest children Millie (11) and Braiden (9) started at a new school – North Walney Primary School just over 12 months ago.

“Within a couple of weeks their education and childhoods were turned upside down by the school bully.

“He and his little gang – threw Millie to the floor and then stood around her kicking her in the ribs.

“Upset she removed her glasses to wipe her tears – the bullies’ response was to tell a younger child to stamp on her glasses – breaking them.

“Once again as on previous occasions I approached the school to be told it was nothing to do with them as it was outside the school (despite their own bullying policy saying otherwise), and the answer was to stop my child from going to the local shop.”

At his wit’s end, and merely wanting what every parent wants, to know his children are safe and free from fear, Mr. Cooper decided to take matters into his own hands in a responsible and civil manner.

“I found out where the bully lived and approached the parents to ask them to ask their child to leave mine alone – instead I was met with a torrent of abuse.”

Deciding to take another, more direct but not unreasonable option has now left Mr. Copper facing a criminal investigation.

“Finally at the end of my tether I approached the bully with my daughter.

“I will be honest – I told her to pin him up against the fence, knee him in the b***s and tell him not to touch you again, sadly she didn’t, because she feared of repercussions from ‘his gang’.

“Instead it was left to me to challenge him, I told him straight to leave my kids alone or their would be consequences. I didn’t touch him, I certainly didn’t threaten him, although trust me how I didn’t do either I don’t know.

“The result – I am now under investigation by the police, and at risk of losing my career. What an absolute joke. What options were I left with?”

Cumbria Police have said in a statement that they are continuing to investigate these “serious matters.”

“We are continuing to engage with the school involved and have been in contact with them this morning.

“We are also aware of a number of previous reports made to the police relating to these matters. It would be inappropriate to comment at this time as some of these are still under active investigation.

“We would like to reassure the public that we are taking these matters seriously and that they are being investigated.”
