Chumlee’s Arrest Update: Who is Tanya Hyjazi And Why Isn’t She Talking?

Chumlee’s arrest update is not full of good news and probably not what die-hard fans want to hear. Sadly, at this point, it looks as though the Pawn Stars favorite has quite a legal battle ahead of him.

A recent Inquisitr post indicates that Austin Russell, a.k.a. Chumlee, could spend almost 80 years behind bars if all 19 of his drug possession charges stick. Unfortunately, that number could climb even higher if the fan favorite gets charged with sexual assault on top of it.

Austin’s family and friends are, for the most part, keeping quiet about the uncomfortable situation and Chumlee’s arrest. This includes Russell’s longtime girlfriend, Tanya Hyjazi. She has yet to make a statement to the press. Could the reason she isn’t talking mean there’s a break-up in the couple’s near future? Only time will tell.

According to International Business Times, Hyjazi doesn’t have anything to say in regard to the raid on Chumlee’s home, his arrest, or impending investigation of her famous boyfriend.

The two have been dating since 2013. Tanya was instrumental in helping the overweight Pawn Stars employee lose a noticeable 75 pounds. The fact that she’s a chef at a popular Las Vegas casino made it easier for her to get the job done.

Chumlee made the decision to lose weight after his father suddenly died at age 54. He documented his weight loss journey and the fact that he chose to cut out red meat on social media. Drinking juice smoothies also contributed to his success.

During an interview with Las Vegas Review-Journal, Russell shared a couple of very interesting tidbits that just might make some people wonder if Chumlee’s arrest was just a matter of time.

Russell paid for Tanya Hyjazi’s breast implants. It was a birthday gift. He had this to say about the unusual present.

“She wanted a boob job and she was going to pay it herself but she works so hard. She’s a chef for a major casino. I thought to myself, it literally takes me a couple hours of work to buy a boob job so why would I make her pay for them. She had her money saved up and I just felt it was the right thing to do. That’s a good birthday present, right?”

When asked about the craziest thing his fans ask him to do, he replied.

At least 1,000 times, no, 100,000 times, a guy will say ‘take a picture with my wife. Now, put your face in her boobies and motorboat ’em.’ I’m thinking to myself, ‘dude, are you serious?’ Of course I’m not going to be setting that kind of an example. And that’s all of time.”

The fact that Chumlee’s arrest resulted from sexual assault allegations really makes some people wonder if there is something secretly dark and sinister about this goofy Pawn Stars favorite.

The question remains, will Tanya Hyjazi break her silence and speak out in defense of her beloved Austin? Or will she stay on the down-low like the rest of Chumlee’s Pawn Stars family?

Yesterday, Inquisitr reported, in a separate Chumlee’s arrest update, that Russell is due back in court on March 23. So it looks as though things will be up in the air for the 33-year-old until then.
