‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Shake-Ups Ahead With The Abbott-Winters Foundation Event, When Do New Episodes Begin Again?

Things have been wild lately on The Young and the Restless, and spoilers tease that there is plenty more chaos on the way. Viewers are facing a short break in the action here for a few days, but there is a lot of drama ahead in the coming week and fans will not want to miss these next episodes. When are new episodes back, and what can everybody expect?

As viewers saw this week, Noah proposed to Marisa and Lily and Cane reconciled at last. Sage is desperate to adopt Shawn’s baby, but Nick is having a lot of reservations about this. Adam took a job in New York while Victoria is struggling in her new role at Newman Enterprises. Victor is sitting in jail and vowing that he will be back on top sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately for fans, there will not be new episodes of The Young and the Restless airing on either Thursday, March 17 or Friday, March 18 due to NCAA basketball. New shows resume again on Monday. What can fans expect in the upcoming week as the action picks up again?

The Young and the Restless spoilers from SheKnows Soaps share that Luca and Summer will be growing even closer to one another. Is there a new romance about to begin on this front? Many suspect that is the case, and this will surely ruffle both Marisa and Noah’s feathers.

Preparations are coming together for the Abbott-Winters Foundation event, and Young and Restless spoilers detail that Lily will be questioning whether the Abbott family will be uniting for the event. She says that the Winters family all will be there, but she questions whether Jack can say the same. Granted, there is some discord these days within the Winters crew as well, but fans will have to stay tuned to see how this event plays out.

Billy has been anxious to woo Victoria back, but she has been resistant. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that on Monday’s show, Vikki will be tracking down Billy and she ends up a bit startled to interrupt a “meeting” he’s having with Phyllis. Billy is seen scrambling to get dressed as Vikki looks on, but everybody will have to wait until Monday to see just what the context is here.

Now that Noah and Marisa are engaged, does that mean that wedding planning will be starting in these next few episodes? Viewers may see this, but there is a bit of an interesting shake-up ahead. Actress Sofia Pernas, who plays Marisa, just landed a big gig with the CW show Transylvania. Does this mean Marisa will be leaving Genoa City?

According to Soap Central, a Young and Restless spokesperson has detailed that Pernas will remain on Y&R on a recurring basis. In fact, Deadline reports that Pernas actually was dropped as a regular cast member just a few days ago, and happened to land the CW gig in Transylvania the next day. Sofia will take over the role of Coriander, who was set to be portrayed by actress Amrita Acharia.

Of course, fans are quite anxious to see action related to the big Sully/Christian reveal. The groundwork is being laid, and Young and Restless spoilers have teased that Sharon will soon be learning that Sully is not really her son. Given her recent nightmare, and the adoption storyline involving Sage, viewers can see that the reveal will come eventually, albeit very slowly.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that in the episodes ahead, Adam will end up making a deal of sorts with Victor while Shawn will develop a crush on Nick. Phyllis tries to connect with Adam to make sure Victor stays behind bars, and there is plenty of drama ahead related to Ashley and Hilary.

Viewers will not get to see new episodes on Thursday or Friday, but the action kicks back into gear on Monday and fans cannot wait. Stay tuned for additional The Young and the Restless spoilers as more information becomes available heading into the week of March 21.
