Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Demo Available Now on PSN, XBL

If you just can’t hold out until Transformers: Fall of Cybertron releases in August, developer High Moon Studios has announced that a demo for the game will go live starting today, July 31, on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Transformers: Fall of Cybertron allows players to go through the first mission in its entirety as either Bumblebee or Vortex. If that’s not enough for you, you’ll also be able to create your own custom bot in the game’s character creator, and then take that bot into competitive multiplayer.

“Gamers can experience the explosive first mission as Bumblebee desperately battles to save the Autobot starship under heavy attack from Megatron and the Decepticons,” the developer said in a press release.

“Players will also get to take control of Vortex in a non-linear assault mission, changing from chopper-to-jet-to-robot however they please while engaging in blistering firefights on the ground and in the air.”

If you’d rather wait until the full game is released, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is set to roll out to retail starting August 21 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
