Selena Gomez Is Now Single: What Happened To Samuel Krost?

Selena Gomez revealed that she’s the only single girl in her group of friends. She also confirmed that Kendall Jenner is dating someone.

The 23-year-old singer sat down for an exclusive interview with Capital FM’s Roman Kemp. The host asked if he could join Gomez’s squad.

“Speaking of your friends, you’ve got quite an impressive list. You’re part of ‘the squad’…Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, and like every other single superstar.”

“Maybe not for the Squad necessarily, but boyfriend material, definitely, is always good!” Selena joked.

Then she admitted that she’s the only one in her squad that’s still single, while the rest of her friends are linked to someone else.

“The reason I made that reference is none of them are single, just so you know! Taylor’s not single, Gigi’s not single, neither is Kendall! I’m the only single one!”

So, now the big question is – what happened to Gomez’s boyfriend Samuel Krost? Just a few days ago, it was rumored that the couple was getting serious and considering living together. Did Gomez lie about her dating status? Or did she split from her boyfriend before things got too hot and heavy?

Fans were shocked when it was rumored that Selena decided to move in with Samuel after she was reported to be dating Taylor Swift’s brother Austin. According to sources, Selena and Austin are just good friends.

Gomez and Krost were first spotted holding hands in front of the Sunset Hotel tower earlier this year. Even an insider revealed that the two were cozy with each other during their romantic dinner date.

“[Selena] was sitting on [Samuel’s] lap, holding hand, kissing his cheek. They were all over each other.”

But the first time the couple sparked the dating rumors was back in November 2015 when they were spotted dining at Cipriani’s in New York City. Photos of Gomez on Krost’s lap were also released on their friend’s Instagram accounts. Sources claimed that Gomez’s new beau was just a distraction, but their relationship has since become serious.

“[Selena] wanted to walk the red carpet with [Samuel] at the Grammys, but Sam was too camera-shy.”

Selena wanted to be careful with the type of guy she wanted to date. After dating Justin Bieber, the “Hands to Myself” singer knew that she wanted someone who was a little down to earth and normal. Samuel is a graduate from New York University and works at Onia as a marketing executive, according to his LinkedIn profile. However, he hangs out with Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid, although Blasting News claimed that Samuel and Gigi have dated in the past.

According to a March 14 report on the Hollywood Life, Gomez has legit fears of being single forever after her latest relationship. Does this really mean that she’s single after all?

“Selena has seen some writing on the wall that her having a relationship in the future is going to be very, very hard. She has joked so much to friend that she is going to be single forever that some friends are actually believing it.”

However, that does not mean that Gomez wants her friends to fix her up. In fact, she refuses it, claims another source.

“The problem is Selena already has made her mind up, but will listen to her friends and not take their advice. It is a constant circle.”

The pop tart has expressed her interest to date older guys during her interview with InStyle U.K., just as long they don’t mind her baby face. She would also like to find a guy like Swift’s DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris.
