A number of Batman video game titles are discounted in this week’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold program. In addition, Ubisoft is also having a sale for most of their games.
Microsoft’s Deals with Gold program for Xbox Live Gold members this week offers a huge discount for Batman: Arkham Knight, according to a blog post on Major Nelson. Available until Monday, March 21, the regularly worth $40 Rocksteady Studios action- adventure video game is now 40 percent cheaper for Xbox One players.
The game is the last of the Arkham series in which fans will see the return of The Scarecrow uniting super villains such as Penguin, Harley Quinn, and Two-Face, Xbox Store’s page for the game described. Another highlight of the game is the Batmobile, which, for the first time, was made by Rocksteady to be drivable in the game.
Aside from the standard edition, Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition is also on sale via Microsoft’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold. Aside from the full Xbox One game, this version also offers the Season Pass, providing gamers new content as they arrive. According to its official product page on Xbox Store, included in the premium edition bundle are “Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion,” “Catwoman’s Revenge,” “Original Arkham Batmobile,” “Robin and Batmobile Skins Pack,” Crime Fighter Challenge Packs and a lot more.
Batman followers, as well as the LEGO fanatics, are also in for some treats this week through the Xbox Live Deals with Gold because LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, both the standard and deluxe editions for Xbox One owners are on sale with 40 percent discount.
The Xbox 360 owners with Xbox Live Gold membership will be able to get 75 percent discount for Batman games such as Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and the deluxe edition for Arkham Origins Blackgate. Batman Origins: Season Pass add-on is also on sale through the Deals with Gold offering.
Another Xbox 360 video game getting an enormous discount this week is Injustice: Gods Amongst Us. Gamers can easily get hold of this fighting video game developed by NetherRealm Studios, Armature Studio, and High Voltage Software for such a low price as it is currently discounted by 75 percent.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft Publisher Sale is also ongoing for Xbox Live Gold members this week. And highlighted in this promotion is one of the most popular Ubisoft game franchise, Assassin’s Creed. For instance, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is being offered with a whopping 60 percent discount to those with Xbox Live Gold membership. Non-Gold subscribers can get the 2013 action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal for only half of its original price. The description of the game’s setting, as posted on its page on Xbox Store, read:
“It is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established a lawless Republic. Among these outlaws is a fearsome young captain named Edward Kenway. His exploits earn the respect of legends like Blackbeard, but draw him into an ancient war that may destroy everything the pirates have built.”
Just Dance 2016 is another Ubisoft title on sale for Xbox 360 users with Gold subscription.

As for other Xbox Live news, a new program was announced today at GDC 2016 allowing developers to make their own tournaments. The Xbox Live Tournaments Platform “is designed to make tournaments easy for developers to integrate into games,” the Polygon report noted.
Furthermore, in addition to introducing the Xbox Live Tournaments Platform, the head of Xbox Advanced Technology Group, Jason Roland, also revealed that they partnered with e-sports networks FaceIt and ESL. Accordingly, they will stage their tournaments using the new Xbox Live platform.
