Britney Spears’ Vanishing Act: Where Is The Pop Star Headed To?
Everybody is wondering where Britney Spears is headed to after she was seen catching a late night flight out of LAX Airport. Is she getting ready to promote a new single or to take a break?
First off, the pop princess looked very exhausted as she was seen rocking her trademark “Baby One More Time” pigtail braids while she was out and about on Monday, March 14. Spears paired her schoolgirl braids with a gray wrap sweater, dark denim skinny jeans, and brown leather knee-high boots. Back in 1998, the singer made her pop debut when she wore a similar hairstyle, complete with pink ribbons and light furry hair ties. Oh, and let’s not forget about her scandalous Catholic schoolgirl uniform.
The 34-year-old looked forward to catching some much-needed sleep on her flight. She cracked a small smile to the paparazzi as she made her arrival to the Los Angeles airport. Britney has been taking time off her revamped Las Vegas show, Piece of Me, she’s been hard on practicing her dance moves and working on her upcoming album. When the show returned last month, Britney’s fans were treated to a new setlist, different dance routines, and sexier costumes. The show returns at the Axis at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on April 6.

With a new album on the horizon, fans are also speculating that she’s returning to New York City to kick start her promotion tour. Back in 2015, Spears revealed to Extra that she’s working “very slowly, but progressively,” and that her ninth album will have a different sound from what she’s done in the past. Expert more “rock-pop” on the album. Then during a recent interview with V Magazine, Spears confirmed that the album is coming sometime in the spring, and her new single could drop any day now.
“I have no idea at this point. But I just know that the direction I’m going in is so good. It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different; it’s not what you would think at all. But I’m not rushing anything. I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it.”
Earlier this month, V Magazine unveiled Britney’s three covers for the 100th issue. The singer is also reportedly collaborating with Beyoncé’s hit songwriter, Carla Marie Williams. She took to Twitter on International Women’s Day to say: “Recently I’ve been working with Britney, which has been great.”
Rumors have also surfaced that Spears is heading back to her hometown of Kentwood Louisiana for some much-needed rest and relaxation. There’s no doubt that fans will hear about Spears’ travels on her Instagram account where she posts photos and videos of her kids, adorable selfies, fun random photos, and plenty of spiritual stuff.
Speaking of rumors, there’s been a lot of strange and wacky rumors surrounding the singer for the past few weeks. Tabloids have been talking about Brit’s love of porn and her quest for love online. Gossip Cop has since debunked both of the stories and proceeded to call them “crazy” and “stupid.”
There’s also been a rumor that Britney Spears has been going under the knife to change up her body. An alleged insider told the tabloids that Spears has “needed some extra help, so she got Lipodissolve injections in her lower belly and thighs in January to melt the fat.” However, that’s not the only area that Spears has gotten work done.
Fans noticed how different Britney looked on the cover of V Magazine, citing plastic surgery or Photoshop as the reason behind her changing looks. The source says that the pop star “felt like her nose was getting bigger and wider, and making her look heavier in the face, so they trimmed it and narrowed down the bridge.”
Now that Spears is single these days, she’s ready to find a new man. Just don’t look for her on any online dating sites.
