Taylor Swift ‘Furious’ With Rita Ora, Worried She’ll Ruin Calvin Harris’ Reputation [Report]

Taylor Swift is allegedly “furious” with Rita Ora and worried that she could ruin the reputation of her current boyfriend, and Rita’s ex, Calvin Harris.

According to a new report by Heat magazine, Swift is concerned that Rita may use her upcoming album to tell less than flattering stories about Calvin from their year-long relationship, which lasted from 2012 to 2013, which Ora previously admitted didn’t end with the two on the best of terms.

“Taylor’s furious at the idea that she could show Calvin in a bad light [and is] scared that Rita has nothing to lose by slating Calvin,” a source close to Taylor supposedly told the magazine this week, adding that Swift doesn’t like that not knowing what the “Hot Right Now” singer has up her sleeve when it comes to new music.

“[Taylor] has no idea what Rita is going to say — whether she is going to imply that Calvin was dishonorable or if it’ll reference things they did in bed,” a source close to Swift alleged, revealing that Taylor is fretting that Calvin’s ex could reveal juicy details about their past romance that could destroy Harris’ reputation.

“Taylor’s so worried it could ruin Calvin’s reputation and then hers, too,” the source told Heat, adding that Taylor Swift wishes Rita would just “leave [Calvin] alone” and move on from their 2013 split.

“She just feels like there’s an agenda to embarrass her,” the Swift insider continued, “After all Taylor’s been through recently, this is the last thing she needs.”

Hollywood Life also alleged earlier this month that Taylor Swift was worried about exactly what Rita will be singing about on her upcoming new album, revealing that Taylor is anxious any sordid details Ora discloses about Calvin could soil Harris’ “squeaky-clean” image.

“Taylor is worried about Rita Ora’s upcoming record, because there’s a couple of tracks that paint Calvin in a bad light,” Hollywood Life revealed earlier this month. “[Swift] doesn’t want any negative comments about her man affecting their relationship because of the public conception of how perfectly suited to each other they are, and how squeaky-clean he appears to be,” the insider added.

It’s been no secret that Calvin Harris and Rita Ora haven’t exactly seen eye to eye since their 2013 break-up, as Ora even candidly revealed during an appearance on KIIS FM’s On Air With Ryan Seacrest that Swift’s now boyfriend blocked her from performing the hit “I Will Never Let You Down” at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards.

“For anybody who doesn’t understand how it works, he wrote and produced the song,” the singer told Ryan Seacrest of the control Taylor Swift’s man has over the song. “So he has to approve anything TV-wise for anybody who doesn’t get it. And obviously he owns the rights to it and he didn’t approve the Teen Choice Awards,” Rita said.

“I wrote this with a really special person,” Rita continued of the song, referring to Harris about a year before he started his new romance with Taylor Swift, “It was the first time I ever kind of opened my doors up for somebody I knew personally.”

Rita previously dished on her break-up with the Scottish DJ to Glamour magazine, where she confessed that she still “adores” Calvin despite their break-up. “He’s such an amazing human being. It was more about the situation. It was inconvenient. It sucks. It wasn’t about ‘us.’ It was about the world we live in,” Rita revealed.
