Jessa Duggar ‘Ready To Move Forward’ With Jill And Jessa Spinoff Despite Josh Duggar

Jessa Duggar is more than “ready to move forward” with Jill and Jessa spinoff. Despite the fact that her brother Josh Duggar has now been released from his rehab, she doesn’t seem concerned about her spinoff with her sister being affected by his scandal. In fact, she might be waiting to ride the wave!

During an interview to promote the Jill and Jessa spinoff with her siblings, Jessa Duggar addressed some of the issues that plagued her while shooting.

“In the midst of what we were walking through, there definitely have to be periods where you’re like, ‘I don’t want cameras around,'” Jessa said according to Entertainment Online. “But as we were talking together as siblings, we’re like, ‘You know what? If we can encourage even one other person out there who’s struggling, then that needs to be our goal.’ We’ve had a lot of healing in our family these past few months and we’re ready to move forward and share our lives.”

The “healing” that she refers to is in regards to her brother, Josh Duggar, who has been accused of molesting his sisters as well as engaging in affairs through the Ashley Madison extramarital affairs website.

Most of Jessa’s siblings, including John-David, were very optimistic about the future and how the Duggar clan would be portrayed in a Jill and Jessa spinoff.

The devil took his best shot,” John-David Duggar said. “And he tried to take our whole family down, but God has really used this to — instead of tearing us apart as a family, he’s using it to draw us together, so for us, we’ve forgiven, and we’re moving on, and we’re looking to the future.”

One of the reasons that the Duggar sisters have a spinoff now is because the original show, 19 Kids and Counting, got cancelled after Josh Duggar’s scandal got out of hand. Talk about drama!

The new show, Jill and Jessa: Counting On, will premiere on March 15 at 9 p.m. on TLC.

However, her sister Jill will not be in the states to celebrate the premiere. She is continuing her mission with her husband Derick Dillard and their one-year-old baby, Israel.

On the other hand, the man that caused all the trouble for the Duggars will not be joining them in front of the camera lens.

“Sources connected with production for the Duggars tell us TLC will NOT feature Josh on his own show, on family specials, or on his sisters’ new series,” TMZ reports. “We’re told the family is focused on rebuilding their brand after his molestation scandal — and trying to move forward without rehashing the past.”

This seems like a smart choice, seeing how Josh was just left rehab and will “continue counseling and focus on rebuilding the relationships with his family now that he’s back in Arkansas.”

For some reason, Jessa doesn’t seem to be concerned that her baby will be near his molesting uncle Josh. By making sure that she has the cameras around her at all times, she might be devising a way to keep the baby away from him.

In fact, a source told People Magazine that rather, “this is a happy time for their kids.” At least his children will be glad to have their father back, despite his crimes and immorality.

See how baby Spurgeon is growing every day!
