Miranda Lambert Brings Country Chic To Your Furry Friends With New Pet Product Brand

Country star and animal advocate Miranda Lambert is bringing her own unique sense of style to the pet product world. Lambert’s animal rescue organization, MuttNation, has teamed with Petmate products to create the MuttNation Fueled by Miranda Lambert brand.

The product line includes pet toys, collars and leashes, feeding accessories, apparel, and bedding that reflect Miranda’s “signature style.” According to a statement on Lambert’s website, MuttNation Fueled by Miranda Lambert “unites a country chic feel with a rock & roll flair” complete with “vintage prints and antique hardware.”

One particular MuttNation Fueled by Miranda Lambert product is especially close to Lambert’s heart. The Rescue Mutts is a collection of six plush toys, each designed after a real-life rescue dog. Every Rescue Mutt comes with the true story of its adoption and new family. There is even one fashioned after Miranda’s beloved first rescue dog, Delilah.

Lambert’s new pet products will launch at the 2016 Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida, March 16-18. A portion of each sale will go towards the rescue and adoption efforts of MuttNation Foundation, which Miranda founded with her mother, Beverly Lambert, in 2009. The “Little Red Wagon” singer shared her excitement about the new partnership that will help raise money and awareness for shelter pets across the country.

“The creation of MuttNation is a dream come true. It’s an extension of me and my mom’s love for all dogs and our goal of helping every dog find a happy, loving home. We are beyond thrilled to have Petmate as a committed and trustworthy partner that shares that same vision. There are millions of beautiful dogs looking for homes and it is our hope that in addition to raising money, we will raise awareness to the joy of adopting a shelter pet.”

Chris Wilson, executive vice president for product development for Petmate, said the company is equally excited and hopeful about the collaboration and the brand’s mission.

“This partnership represents a major commitment to help put a stop to the epidemic of homeless pets sweeping our nation. We are so excited to create a collection that provides ongoing support for MuttNation Foundation. The MuttNation product line truly reflects Miranda’s lifestyle and her passion for pets.”

Earlier this year, MuttNation Foundation generously donated $175,000 to selected animal shelters throughout the United States. Through its Mutts Across America: 50 States / 50 Shelters initiative, Miranda Lambert’s animal rescue organization gave a deserving shelter in each state a minimum of $3,000. According to Taste of Country, this was the foundation’s third year offering financial support to chosen shelters across the country.

Miranda’s mother and MuttNation Foundation co-founder, Beverly, is just as passionate about helping those who help the helpless.

Redemption Ranch is another initiative backed by MuttNation Foundation. The no-kill shelter is located in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and boasts roomy kennels, a nursery, and an Intensive Care Unit. It accepts only 50 dogs at one time to ensure there is plenty of room and tender-loving-care for each one.

MuttNation Foundation works with shelters and organizations to help provide spay and neuter programs, medical treatments, adoptions, preventative care, transportation, mill rescues, food and supplies, and education. Beverly and Miranda ensure that every penny donated goes directly to caring for animals in need.
