Miley Cyrus has temporarily drawn on inspiration from her Hannah Montana days as she begins filming for Woody Allen’s latest endeavor involving a television series.
Cyrus was spotted filming Allen’s Amazon series in Sleepy Hollow, New York, and looked almost unidentifiable in her lengthy blonde locks.
Entertainment Tonight relays that the set involved a small crew of only two cast members and was a quiet set in a rural community. There were no more than 30 people on the scene while the series filmed. Entertainment Tonight shares details of the scene that the crew was shooting in the New York town.
“In the scene they were filming, Cyrus was seen picking daises near a sun dial in the backyard of a house as Magaro approached her and suggested they go on a walk through the woods, the eyewitness added. It was apparently a hot day on set, but that didn’t stop a relaxed Cyrus and Magaro from filming. The source told us they shot for about 10 hours, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a break for lunch. Cyrus ate a veggie wrap and was joined by one of her gal pals.”
The first-ever television project by star director Woody Allen remains untitled and is set in the mid-60s. Six half-hour episodes will comprise the series. Allen, who wrote the script for all six episodes in the series, will also star in his project along with Miley Cyrus, John Margaro, Elaine May, and Rachel Brosnahan.
Cyrus has been finding her way into the spotlight recently for a number of negative reasons as well as those that show she’s still focused on making both her music and acting career a success. The “Wrecking Ball” singer was criticized this past week for posting a picture and caption to Instagram that called Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin on her troubled past. The singer shared a racy photo of Sweetin with a caption that entices Fuller House fans, and is offensive to the recovering addict.
The National Post shares the caption that was associated with the picture.
“Current Mood #fullerhouse only you freaks take this as shaming! To me it looks like Stephanie is having a f–king gay ol time!”
Cyrus also replaced the face of the unidentified man in the picture with Full House cast member Dave Coulier, As the Post relays, Sweetin struggled with substance abuse for some time, but is now on the road to full sobriety and recovery. The experience was recorded in her memoir entitled, UnSweetined,
A number of fans spoke up in response to Cyrus’ inappropriate post, sharing their disgust at the star’s actions. The publication shares one quote from a fan.
“You shouldn’t really rehash Jodie’s past, she has moved on by this and has cleaned up her life. Please focus on your own life.”
Another response to the post was by an individual who shared as to why being a fan of Cyrus was no longer an option.
“Haven’t been a fan since the Hannah Montana days and this just reconfirms how terrible you have become.”
Jodie Sweetin responded in a graceful and unaffected manner, demonstrating the level of maturity she has opposed to that of Cyrus.
“I don’t pay attention to negative stuff. I have so much good stuff going on in my life right now that I try not to pay attention.”
