Ciara Responds To Khloe Kardashian’s Criticism Of Her Abstinence Vow After Engagement To Russell Wilson

Ciara has reportedly responded to Khloe Kardashian’s controversial abstinence statement, and fans may be surprised about what she has to say. If you were expecting Khloe’s comments to lead to a potential cat-fight, well, guess again. Apparently, Ciara isn’t focusing on the negative energy at all. It has been reported that an insider close to Ciara recently spoke to Hollywood Life with details about her take on Khloe’s statement and where her focus is now that she’s engaged to Russell Wilson.

“With all due respect to Ciara, she has a baby. It’s not like we don’t know if she’s a virgin or not. But none of us would know about it if they weren’t publicly telling that they were practicing celibacy. So who are you trying to prove this to? Is it a look?”

The insider went on to reveal that Ciara has no intentions of being involved in a highly-publicized feud with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. Since Ciara regularly makes headlines for her sparring matches with her ex-fiancé, Future, the last thing she reportedly wants is more opposition to fuel the rumor mill and gossip reports. She’s reportedly focused on the next chapter in her life with Russell Wilson.

“Ciara’s not up for another feud,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She’s really too busy jet-setting and exploring the world with her man. Yes, her man! She has one! One who loves her unconditionally and respects her mind, body and soul. That’s the ultimate love that any woman could ask for but unfortunately never get to experience. Ciara’s a very lucky woman and she’s going to spend her time loving the man of her dreams.”

The latest report follows numerous reports detailing Khloe Kardashian’s comments about Ciara and Russell Wilson’s decision to remain abstinent until they tie the knot. For those who missed it, Khloe was accused of criticizing Ciara and Russell’s vow to abstain from sex until marriage, according to the Daily Caller. On a recent episode of Kocktails With Khloe, Ciara and Russell’s engagement was mentioned during the discussion. Khloe reportedly believes their decision is all part of a publicity stunt and she shared a number of reasons why she believes abstinence isn’t the best idea.

“They should be having sex,” Kardashian said. “With all due respect to Ciara, she has a baby. It’s not like we don’t know if she is a virgin or not. None of us would know about it if they weren’t publicly telling us that they are practicing celibacy, so who are you trying to prove this to? Is it a look?”

Almost immediately after Khloe’s celibacy comments began making headlines, social media users reacted in support of Ciara and Russell, which ultimately led to lots of criticism for Khloe. As expected, Khloe was criticized for her promiscuity during her marriage. Although she and Lamar were separated when she decided to move on, social media users still condemned her for dating French Montana and James Harden before the divorce was finalized.

Many people also criticized the Kardashian-Jenner family and their love life drama while applauding Ciara and Russell for their decision. In fact, she received so much backlash for the comments, she took to Twitter to defend herself by offering an explanation for the comments. Khloe insists her words were taken out of context and she respects Ciara.

Ciara and Russell Wilson may be one step closer to tying the knot, but she’s made it clear they will remain abstinent until they make their marriage official.
