Angelina Jolie Replaced In New ‘Tomb Raider’ Movie

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are now neighbors with Londoners! The couple, who married in 2014 after dating for 9 years, settled into a rental house in London at the end of February, according to Us Magazine.

Angelina Jolie and her husband along with their kids Zahara, 11, Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7, are now living in an eight-bedroom rental house for which they pay $21,000 monthly.

According to an Us Magazine source, Angelina Jolie and Pitt will stay in the “beautiful, White House–style home,” for no less than half a year. The choice of the “White House–style home” could perhaps be explained by the fact that Pitt has recently focused on political projects.

Angelina Jolie and Pitt’s new home is situated on the River Thames in the London suburb Surrey, and is nestled just 40 minutes from the family’s pal and fellow actor George Clooney. The mansion features a swimming pool and built-in gym.

Angelina Jolie and Pitt have been moving around the world for several years now. As explained by the family, they prefer their life to be “nomadic.” Jolie and Pitt have also taken their kids around London to explore the city lately. Last week, Pitt visited a pottery studio with the kids, and a week earlier, Angelina Jolie took the kids to visit Hamleys toy store, according to the source.

As it turns out, Angelina Jolie is an actress that can be replaced. At least when it comes to her Lara Croft role in Tomb Raider. According to Perez Hilton, Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Daisy Ridley could play the role of Lara Croft in a future Tomb Raider reboot.

Ridley appears to be leading a shortlist of actresses that Warner Bros and MGM are eyeing to replace Angelina Jolie’s Lara Croft role in Tomb Raider. And Ridley has reportedly even had conversations with both of the movie studios about it.

According to reports, Tomb Raider will be a reboot and a prequel at the same time. The movie is also expected to follow events from video games about Lara Croft. And it seems that Warner Bros and MGM would have no problem replacing Angelina Jolie with Ridley, judging by her fighting, puzzle-solving, and climbing skills in the latest Star Wars movie.

On Monday, Angelia Jolie made quite a statement about the ongoing migrant crisis in Europe with the help of her daughter Shiloh, according to Daily Mail. In particular, with the help of her daughter’s sweatshirt.

Angelina Jolie was photographed leaving the Los Angeles airport on Monday, holding hands with her kids Shiloh, Zahara and Pax. And while Jolie opted for all black outfit with sunglasses, her daughter wore a sweatshirt that read, “Einstein was a refugee.”

Angelina Jolie is a Special Envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, which is why the 40-year-old actress often sees the need to express her opinion about the refugee crisis in Europe. The UN has recently included Einstein in a list of famous refugees who have made a difference for the world.

Last year, Angelia Jolie made quite a few statement about the ongoing migrant crisis in Europe, criticizing the European Union for its inability to resolve the issue. The Lara Croft actress also urged the UN to differentiate between refugees that escape wars and those who escape poverty.

Angelina Jolie also called for a more efficient screening of refugees that would allow shelter to be provided for those truly in need of protection.
