The Obama girls made their first state dinner appearance and stunned many with their beautiful gowns and elegant appearance. However, it wasn't the dresses and glam that had many talking but rather an adorable moment captured in an official White House photo that shows Sasha Obama meeting Ryan Reynolds for the first time. The Canadian actor was at the state dinner held in honor of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Sasha was truly star-struck. However, Sasha didn't have to go it alone, as she had the full support of her sister Malia who was seen giving her a thumbs up in the background as the pair chatted in the foreground.

People Magazine reports that the Obama girls had a big week as Sasha and Malia attended their first ever state dinner. The Obama girls stunned in formal wear and looked the part of sophisticated young ladies at the meal prepared in honor of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. However, Sasha and Malia Obama had a special sister moment captured on camera that the internet is calling the "best sister moment ever" for the pair.

The moment took place as Sasha Obama not only got to mark a state dinner off of her list of firsts but also got to meet actor Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds, a Canadian actor, was at the state dinner along with wife Blake Lively but took a moment of time to sneak in a conversation with Sasha while the cameras rolled. Sasha, obviously having a fan girl moment, was star-struck when meeting the actor. Therefore, sister Malia showed some support from the sidelines by giving her younger sister the thumbs up to continue the conversation.

Twitter users note that Sasha acted just like any other girl would act when meeting Reynolds for the first time. Malia was also called out as a pretty amazing "wing woman" for her little sister.

"When I was first elected to this office, Malia was just 10 and Sasha was 7. And they grow up too fast. Now Malia is going off to college... And I'm starting to choke up."

Meanwhile, in Trudeau's address at the state dinner, the Canadian prime minister called the Obama girls out for their "extraordinary strength" and "grace."

"I admire you very much, both of you, for your extraordinary strength and your grace, through what is a remarkable childhood and young adulthood that will give you extraordinary strength and wisdom beyond your years for the rest of your life. The one thing that you have received from your extraordinary parents is the tools to be able to handle the challenges and the opportunities in front of you."
