Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill Took Relationship ‘Hiatus’ Over House Arrest

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill allegedly split for three weeks before getting back together amid Meek’s current house arrest.

According to a new report by TMZ, Nicki and Meek took a “three week hiatus” from their relationship in February, but are now officially back together and vowing to work on their love as Meek is now under house arrest.

A source close to Minaj and Mill revealed to the site this week that both Nicki and Meek “both realized their communication skills suck and that’s caused a lot of unnecessary fighting,” and added that Mill’s legal issues that lead to his 90-day house arrest sentence and “put a huge strain on the relationship.”

Reports than Nicki and Meek have reconciled comes just weeks after TMZ first reported that the couple had a huge “blow out” fight after Mill supposedly asked Minaj to move in with him days before he began his three-month house arrest on March 1, which confined him to his Pennsylvania home until June.

A source revealed to TMZ at the time that Nicki told her man that she “would not put her life on hold” while he serves his time, and alleged that Minaj told the rapper that she refused to pack her bags and head to Pennsylvania.

TMZ‘s source revealed that the living arrangement disagreement then blew up into a “big fight” between the couple, which it’s thought may have lead to the reported three-week break the couple just took.

Hollywood Life also revealed that Nicki and Meek hadn’t exactly been seeing eye to eye in recent months, but alleged that the couple “live” for the drama that comes with their relationship.

“There is definitely truth behind their fights but they both live for it,” a source told Hollywood Life of the drama the surrounds Meek and Minaj earlier this month. “They know how to push each others’ buttons and actually end up loving each other more after an epic yell fest,” the insider revealed.

However, according to TMZ, Nicki has now “softened her opposition” when it comes to the possibility of living with the “All Eyes on You” singer in Pennsylvania and will supposedly be by her man’s side in the East Coast state “whenever possible.”

Nicki originally denied reports that she and Meek had suffered a “blowout” argument about whether or not Minaj would move in, tweeting on February 28 after TMZ‘s original story broke “S/o to these fake stories ~ who’s ready for the show tomorrow?”

The Daily Mail initially reported last year that Nicki was doing all she could to help Mill with his recent legal issues, which included Minaj being present at hearings and even allegedly telling the judge in the case that she was in a position to help her boyfriend stick to the terms of his probation “because of the relationship they have.”

The latest reports that Nicki and Meek have officially reconciled comes just days after Minaj hinted that she and Meek were still as loved-up as ever when she posted a sweet photo of herself and the rapper on her Snapchat account.

Minaj’s snap showed the couple looking pretty cozy, while Nicki made us of Snapchat’s filters to add dog ears and a dog nose to her selfie pose. Though Minaj didn’t give too much away with the photo, she simply posted four tongue out emojis with the snap.

Nicki also hinted that things were all good between herself and Meek on Instagram this week, where Minaj posted a cleavage bearing shot of herself wearing the huge ring Mill gave her last year on her left ring finger.
