Kylie Jenner Names Kanye West As Her Favorite Fashion Icon, Talks Acting And More
Although Kanye neglected to use sister-in-law Kylie Jenner in his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show last month, the 18-year-old is not holding it against him. The reality star has given her love to Kanye by sharing that he is her favorite fashion icon of all. How sweet.
“The 18-year-old reality star didn’t hesitate to name her sister Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband when she was asked to name her favorite fashion stars during a rapid-fire question and answer interview with Nip + Fab founder and CEO, Maria Hatzistefanis on her YouTube channel Mrs. Rodial.”
Jenner is an ambassador for the well known skin care brand and seems to be sure to rave about Kanye’s style sense and fashion line whenever she has the opportunity. However, perhaps the teen is making up for blindsiding the rapper when she signed on for a Puma campaign, which is a brand that is in direct competition with Kanye’s Addidas brand.
Kylie had already made the deal with Puma before Kanye took to Twitter on one of his famous rants, this time stating that the athletic wear brand was trying to tear his family apart, as the Mail shares.
“The budding entrepreneur had already signed with the company when Kanye took to Twitter ranting and raving that Puma was trying to divide his family, wrongly insisting that she would ‘1,000 per cent’ never do it — just a week before it was confirmed that she had signed a deal with the sportswear brand and already shot her first campaign with them.”
It, however, seems that the two have gotten past the touchy topic and let bygones pass. Kylie was sure to gush about Kanye throughout the interview and was very forthcoming about all questions the interviewer posed to the teen. The only question which remained unanswered was who Kylie last texted with.
Kylie responded coyly and skirted around a true response to the mysterious text topic.
“The last person I texted was…I mean I know who it was, but I don’t want to say it, so I am trying to think of somebody else. Probably one of my sisters.”
One clear possibility as to who Jenner last contacted via text is obviously her 26-year-old rapper boyfriend Tyga. The teen has been in the headlines recently for her Tyga’s on-and-off relationship, as VH1 shares, so perhaps her choice is to be secretive about her relationship from this point.
As to the remainder of the interview, Kylie was sure to share about her must-have items before leaving the house, while throwing in a little self-promotion.
“I need ChapStick. I need Kylie Lip Kits, and my car keys, obviously.”
Kylie also shared that summer is her favorite season because really, when isn’t it summer is Los Angeles? The teen was stumped when asked who she would most want to play her in a movie.
“Oh my god these are such hard questions. Probably… I don’t know! Who looks like me? ‘I have no idea. Myself. Honestly.”
Perhaps this means the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner crew has more than the hit reality show in her future on camera. Perhaps a new endeavor for this driven teen will be a bit of acting. It’s clear that Kylie finds success in all she seeks to do and has started her year off well with new Kylie Lip Kit colors selling out and a Puma campaign that rattled her brother-in-law.
