‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Will Glenn And Maggie’s Baby Survive The Saviors?

The Walking Dead is no place for children, but kids grow up in the zombie apocalypse and sometimes babies are born into it. Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) are expecting their first child. It should be a joyous and exciting time for Glenn and Maggie. Instead, Maggie’s entire pregnancy has been filled with worry, chaos, and The Walking Dead character fighting instead of protecting her unborn child. On the last episode of TWD, Carol (Melissa McBride) and Maggie were kidnapped. The Walking Dead season 6, episode 13 spoilers reveal that Glenn and Maggie’s baby may not survive because of a vicious act by one of the Saviors.

In the beginning, Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) grew up while fighting to survive. The Walking Dead character even had to kill his own mother, Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies), after she died giving birth to baby Judith. There have been other children in The Walking Dead as well. Most have died, such as Lizzie, Mika, and Sophia. A few have managed to survive, but so far, the only kids in Rick’s group that have made it this far are Carl and baby Judith Grimes.

The Walking Dead is expecting another addition. However, as previously speculated by Inquisitr, Glenn and Maggie‘s baby may not survive on The Walking Dead. Maggie could have a miscarriage or the expectant mother could lose her life, which would result in her unborn baby also dying. There could also be pregnancy or childbirth complications if Maggie somehow makes it to her third trimester.

A fan of The Walking Dead commented on The Spoiling Dead Fans’ advance preview post, thanking the Facebook page for the TWD spoilers. In response, The Walking Dead spoiler page gave another tidbit away, this time about Glenn and Maggie’s baby in season 6, episode 13.

“Maggie will be almost stabbed,” The Spoiling Dead Fans responded to the comment regarding “The Same Boat” spoilers, “and she will be punched hard in the side during the episode.”

TSDF mentioned that there are three female members of the Saviors who abducted Carol and Maggie. In that same comment, The Walking Dead spoiler page revealed that by the end of season 6, episode 13, those captors will die.

Any blunt force to the abdomen area of a pregnant woman, including the side, can cause injury or even death to a fetus. Could Glenn and Maggie’s baby die as a result of one of the Saviors punching the pregnant TWD character? How will this affect Lauren Cohan’s character on future episodes of The Walking Dead season 6?

Spoiler TV published an advance preview of The Walking Dead season 6, episode 13. It states that one character will cough up blood. Could this be Lauren Cohan‘s character after she is punched, or is it someone else?

What else is known about The Walking Dead season 6, episode 13 is that Carol and Maggie escape the Saviors. Although Rick tries to rescue the TWD characters, Carol has a crazy plan, which includes Melissa McBride’s character putting on a “weak woman” act and it ends up working. At the end of “The Same Boat,” Glenn and Maggie are reunited and she promises to never leave his side again.

What do you think will happen with Glenn and Maggie’s baby on The Walking Dead? Will Lauren Cohan’s character lose her unborn child due to one of the Saviors punching Maggie in the side? If so, how will Rick’s group handle the loss, especially after seeing the ultrasound images? Could it cause Maggie to go into a rage or will she go into a deep depression, possibly becoming suicidal?
