PC Gamers Still Waiting For Skyrims Dawnguard Expansion

OK. You love The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim and you play it on your PC morning, noon and night. After all, it is summer time and the living is easy ’till September. Your annoying little brother; the one who has to have every game you do, plays Skyrim on his Xbox 360. The problem is that you are contemplating murder, because he has been having a ball with the Skyrim Dawnguard expansion for almost a month and you are still waiting for your copy. Its only been released for Xbox 360 and the brat isn’t going to ever let you forget it.

Even his annoying friends have copies for their Xbox. But you decided that consoles were for kids and you worked dad over until you finally got your dream computer. Now, not only is you kid brother thumbing his nose at you, but Bethesda isn’t giving out any hints at all on when the Dawnguard expansion will be available for the PC.

Bethesda was kind enough to tell you, they had absolutely nothing to tell you, with this tweet on July 26, 2012. Bethesda’s Pete Hines tweeted, “We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I’d tell you. I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded. Not that news is never coming.”

OK, Pete, he gets the point. He is sorry he asked 789 times this week on the Skyrim forums and he promises to never, never do it again. (Crossing fingers behind back.)

The problem is, whenever your favorite sibling is out running around the block with his charming friends, and you can sneak a few minutes on his Xbox, you are having so much fun as a floating, blood drinking vampire lord, that you never want to stop. Maybe you can just convince the parents to ship Timmy off to military school and you can “borrow” his Xbox. FOREVER!!

But no, you will just have to wait patiently (Yeah, right) until Bethesda gets around to telling you when you can expect The Skyrim Dawngurad expansion to be available for other consoles and the PC. Or maybe you will have to……. No, you can’t do that, prison isn’t a fun place for a hardcore gamer.
