Alicia Vikander Too Busy For Boyfriend Michael Fassbender After Winning Oscar

Alicia Vikander still may have feelings for Michael Fassbender, but now she may just be too busy for him! After winning her first Oscar, her presence has been requested at all the prestigious events, including the ones by her sponsor Louis Vuitton.

“She’s had a stellar start to the year with an Oscar win for her acclaimed role in The Danish Girl. And Alicia Vikander indulged her other big passion on Wednesday night, marking the end of Paris Fashion week by hitting the Louis Vuitton after show dinner in a very stylish ensemble,” reports the Daily Mail.

“Alicia continued her love affair with Louis Vuitton at their PFW party, just two weeks after wowing in a stunning gown from the brand on the Oscars red carpet,” the same article reports.

The fact that the 27-year-old actress is an Oscar winner now means that she has much more exposure to the public and fame. She has events to attend, commitments to uphold, and things to show her face at. Being famous has its pros and cons!

The funny thing is that her boyfriend Michael Fassbender was also nominated for Oscars the same night she was. She walked away with the golden statue in her hands, but he left the show empty handed. While he showed affection towards her during the show, there may be some bitterness lingering in him.

“While Fassbender did not feature in The Danish Girl actress’ speech, or in the thank you scroll that ran along the bottom of the screen during the broadcast, he did get an appreciative kiss as she left her seat,” according to 9News.

Leading up to the night of Oscars, Michael Fassbender has given interviews that hint towards his relationship status with Alicia Vikander, as well as his film career.

“I’m very aware that things are going very well for me today, but that doesn’t mean things will be like that tomorrow,” he said according to Irish Independent. “Who knows what might happen in the future? I’ll just take it beat-by-beat, find good stories, good directors to work with. That’s it, really. Whatever happens outside of that is out of my control.”

It looks like the 38-year-old actor is leaving his relationship with the Oscar winner to chance and fate. Maybe he isn’t as committed to her as she wants him to be.

Either way, Alicia probably doesn’t have time on her hands to ponder about the state of her relationship. With all her obligations post winning her first Oscar, she has much grander plans for her future.

On the other hand, trying to distract himself from the fact that he didn’t win this year, Michael is throwing himself back into work as well. He has been heavily promoting his upcoming film Assassin’s Creed, which has a huge fan base, thanks to the game that the movie is based on.

“Michael Fassbender is something of a sketchy character in the latest still from the Assassin’s Creed movie,” according to Games Radar. “Fresh from the pages of the new issue of Total Film magazine, we have an exclusive look below. The cell-bound sketcher is Callum Lynch, the modern-day character Fassbender plays in the time-hopping videogame adaptation.”

He also is gearing up for X Men: Apocalypse, which will be released in early summer. In the promotion posters, Michael Fassbender has been featured front and center, which means that he is getting more exposure than ever before.

Front and center is Michael Fassbender’s Magneto, working his magnetic hand-magic on the masses,” according to Yahoo Movies. “He’s flanked by the leather-clad Psylocke (Olivia Munn) and crazy-eyed Storm (Alexandra Shipp) to the right, with the not-so-angelic Angel (Ben Hardy) hovering above.”

How do you think Alicia and Michael make time for their relationship to work? Do you think they will last very long? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
