‘Bringing Up Bates’ Baby Update: Chad And Erin Paine Reveal Second Baby’s Gender, Is It A Boy Or A Girl?

The Bringing Up Bates family continues to expand and fans were thrilled recently to learn that Gil and Kelly Jo Bates are expecting another grandbaby this summer. Chad and Erin Paine are expecting their second baby and they have just revealed the baby’s gender and name. What’s the scoop?

Chad and Erin Paine’s little boy Carson will have his first birthday this spring and now Bringing Up Bates fans know that the couple is expecting their second child this summer. Erin recently shared that this pregnancy came as a big surprise, but the couple is thrilled to be expanding their family already.

Bringing Up Bates fans know that Erin and Chad had a difficult time having their first child, but little Charles Stephen IV, whom they call Carson, was born healthy last May. Carson joins fellow Bates grandbabies Bradley, who is Whitney and Zach’s first baby, and Allie, the first child of Alyssa and John Webster. Bradley was born in October 2014 while Allie was born in April 2015.

Zach and Whitney recently shared that their second baby is on the way, and they are expecting a girl this summer whom they plan to name Kaci Lynn. It looks like Erin and Chad’s second baby will be due shortly after Kaci Lynn’s arrival, and the Paine family just shared the gender and name of the baby as well.

As SheKnows shares, Erin and Chad are also expecting a baby girl! They have chosen the name Brooklyn Elise for her. The Bringing Up Bates couple shares that Erin has loved the name Brooklyn for quite a while. As for Elise, they were leaning toward Grace for a bit for the baby’s middle name. Ultimately, however, Chad nudged Erin to use Elise, which is her own middle name as well.

Will the Paine family expand beyond Carson and Brooklyn down the road? The Bringing Up Bates star says that she finds parenting to be a rewarding and fun adventure and they feel very blessed to know that Brooklyn is on the way. When it comes to having more kids, though, Erin says that for now they are simply focused on life with Carson and ensuring that Brooklyn arrives safe and sound.

Of course, Bringing Up Bates fans would love to see a third pregnancy announced soon so that the family could add a trio of new grandbabies over the next few months. Luckily, there are still a couple of other options available when it comes to possible baby news. Michaella and Brandon got married last August, so it would not come as a surprise at all to hear they were ready to have their first child. Michaella recently told the Knoxville News Sentinel, however, that so far there was no baby news to share yet from their end.

Alyssa and John Webster welcomed their little girl Allie Jane almost a year ago, so could they be ready to start working on their second? So far there is no news of any additions on the way for their family, but Bringing Up Bates fans will certainly be waiting and hoping that perhaps they will expand their family relatively soon as well.

Season 3 of the show is currently airing every Thursday night on UP TV. While many first viewers started following the Bates family due to their longtime friendship with the Duggar family of 19 Kids and Counting, the Bringing Up Bates crew now has a fan base of their own.

Tune into new episodes featuring Gil, Kelly Jo, their 19 kids, and extended families every Thursday and stay tuned for more Bringing Up Bates baby news as the family continues to grow. Congratulations to Whitney, Zach, Erin, and Chad on the baby girls they have on the way this summer!
