Kanye West’s Praise For Kim Kardashian After Nude Selfie Controversy

Kanye has something to say about Kim Kardashian’s recent internet popularity explosion after Kim posted nude selfies to Instagram. West recently went on one of his lengthy Twitter rants, inspired by his wife, Kim, and it had a lot to do with women’s clothing and fashion. He was explicitly appreciative of Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, using Kim as a muse and model for the firm’s latest collection of fashion goods, reports Perez Hilton.

Kanye tweeted that he want to thank Olivier for making Kim the center of his collection.

“I thank Olivier for designing his collection around my wife.”

Open and to the point, West wasted no time making his appreciation for Olivier clear and talking up Kim. Proud as any husband could be, Kanye went on to tell fans that Kardashian is the modern day “everything,” and otherwise say some of the typically supportive things Kanye has to say about Kim.

“This is visionary as i believe that Kim is our modern day everything.”

Although what he means by this is, as is often the case with Kanye’s tweets, unclear, it’s certainly a supportive thing to say. Loving husband to the end, it looks like Kanye is just the person Kim would want in her life after her huge nude selfie controversy.

Kanye’s rant didn’t stop there, though. West continued on, as he does, with a long-winded series of tweets about all sorts of subjects. He mentioned that he was on his way back from Europe to see his family, which seems nice enough. Kanye also talked about finishing the Life of Pablo mixes he still had sitting around at home, according to Hollywood Life. A mundane enough way to start a rant, for sure. He quickly delved into some more familiar territory, and began to again entertain fans with his personality. Kanye began to talk about suit jackets. Yep, suit jackets.

West tweets that he doesn’t “personally like” suits “anymore.” Kim’s husband goes on to say that this distaste has grown especially strong when it comes to suits on women. West says that he “hates” the fashion item being worn by women. Kanye also tells fans that he thinks that suit jackets on women was a “groundbreaking idea 5 million years ago.” Don’t wear suit jackets around Kanye, especially if you’re a woman. He won’t be happy.

Kanye then told fans what he thinks about human society being “stuck” in the past and tradition. Out with the old, in with the new, seems to be West’s new motto.

Even so, following this statement about moving forward, West then attacked anyone who “copies” Hedi Slimane by trying to appeal to younger clients.

Which is it West, old or new? Maybe there is a deeper point to all this. He calls fashion designers out for using “combat boots” to give their designs a youthful feeling, which seems to be the latest trend. It makes sense that Kanye would know, he did just come from the Paris fashion event. Which, he makes it clear to fans, he only went to to stand by his friends “Olivier, Riccardo, and Demna.”

The tweets went on like this for some time, until West eventually circled around to supporting Kim. While he may be a little hard to understand sometimes, Kanye is certainly up for husband of the year with his undying support for his wife, Kim Kardashian. Hard not to respect a man that always stands by his wife.

Kim has taken the bull by the horns herself, and we can’t help but think that it has something to do with Kanye’s huge support for her. She recently Snapchatted a video to fans that followed Lily Allen’s hit “F**k you,” and the Snapchat features Kim dancing happily.

Looks like her goal of telling the world off wasn’t so hard to reach.
