Jon Voight has endorsed Donald Trump. The iconic actor issued a statement of support to Breitbart on Wednesday. The Deliverance star feels the political outsider is the only man who can get the job done and set America back on a course towards prosperity.
Donald Trump has also been endorsed by former Yankees star Johnny Damon, Kid Rock, and Mike Tyson. Voight said he informed the leading GOP candidate of his support earlier this week. The actor jokingly said that Trump doesn’t seem to need his support, but he is happy to give it.
“The people have been much ahead of the so-called experts,” Jon said when noting how the voting public ignored the pundits who said Trump was a flash in the pan and would fizzle out after the summer months of 2015.

“I, Jon Voight, can say, without hesitation, that Donald is funny, playful, and colorful, but most of all, he is honest,” that actor’s Donald Trump endorsement said. “When he decided to run for president, I know he did it with a true conviction to bring this country back to prosperity. He is the only one who can do it. No frills, no fuss, only candid truths.”
Voight went on to say that he is praying all Americans will join him in the fight to make Donald Trump the next President of the United States. The Republican front-runner will not “let us down,” according to the legendary character actor, the Daily Mail reports.
In his Donald Trump endorsement, Voight also references the “meltdown of America” under the guidance of Barack Obama.

Donald Trump appears to be extremely appreciative of the Jon Voight endorsement. Yesterday, the GOP front-runner shared a link to the Breitbart story about the vocal support of the movie star on Facebook. Trump deemed the high-profile endorsement a “great honor.”
Voight had some tough words for members of the Republican establishment who are attempting to thwart Donald Trump’s rise and demeaning of the American people for their ballot choice in the process.
The award-winning actor believes the GOP elite are trying to stop Trump from becoming the Republican nominee because “he has no bull to sell.” Voight said that eventually everyone will find out that the “bull most politicians spew” is merely a ruse to better their own causes and for personal benefit. Voight went on to say that Republican leaders never once dreamed they would be “losing control” of the party they have staked a claim to.
Here’s an excerpt from the Jon Voight Donald Trump endorsement.
“The Republicans need to unite behind this man. We need somebody to go in and reconstruct us in a sort of way, get us back to where we were, who we need to be. He’s an answer to our problems. We need to get behind him. I pray for all good people to see clearly what faces us now. The right vote will save our nation.”

Jon Voight is not only disappointed in the Republican Party leadership but in the media outlets and talk shows which are “spewing out lies and propaganda” about Donald Trump. The actor feels the only reason for such rants is a desire to repress a sense of freedom that both bewilders and frightens them.
