‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: The Newman Enterprises Board Vote Is Held, Will Victor Lose Control Of His Company?

What can viewers expect from Thursday’s episode of The Young and the Restless? Spoilers indicate that it is time for the Newman Enterprises board to vote, and tensions will be running high. Will everybody really vote Victor out, or will he manage to maintain control of the company?

All of the Newman family members will be gathering in preparation for the board vote. Young and the Restless spoilers via SheKnows Soaps share that Adam and Chelsea will talk about the job opportunity in New York that he may pursue. They also talk about the Newman vote, and Chelsea wonders if Adam will be tempted to step in if Victor is kicked out.

Adam admits that it might be difficult to resist the opportunity to take over the company, and Young and Restless spoilers tease that Chelsea reacts by forbidding him from attending the board meeting. When it is time to vote, he joins the group via speakerphone.

Nick and Sage will continue their argument over the idea of adopting Shawn’s baby. Young and the Restless spoilers share that he will continue to voice concerns about moving forward, and she is angry and intent on pursuing the placement. Shawn will see the two arguing and question how volatile their relationship is, but Sage tries to smooth things over. When Shawn worries whether the adoption is a move to save the marriage, Sage insists that their marriage is in good shape and the baby would be well-loved.

Celeb Dirty Laundry indicates that Summer will visit Victor and fill him in on the scheduled board meeting. He is determined to hold onto control of the company, and he lashes out at the family members turning on him. Young and the Restless spoilers detail that he will get quite confused at one point, and he is taken to the hospital.

Nikki, Victoria, and Abby discuss the upcoming vote, and Young and Restless spoilers share that Abby will worry about the toll this could take on her father. She worries it could kill him, but Nikki and Vikki insist that he has brought it on himself, and it might be the only path to redemption. Soon, Summer and Nick arrive as well, and they learn about Newman being taken to the hospital. Naturally, Nikki suspects that he’s faking his illness as a strategy to push out the vote.

The family goes ahead with the meeting, and Young and Restless spoilers detail that after some discussion, the vote is held. Nick abstains, Summer votes to keep Victor, and everybody else votes to boot him. Nikki recommends that Vikki step into his place, and Adam wishes her well and hangs up. While many of the Newman family members are surprised that Adam doesn’t go for the position himself, Vikki is approved for the new role.

Adam and Chelsea celebrate being done with Newman Enterprises while Nick catches up to Sage and Shawn and indicates he is fully committed to the adoption. Young and the Restless spoilers detail that Shawn will feel solid about the plan at this point, given these reassurances.

Thursday’s episode also has a bit of action related to Ashley, as she butts heads with Dr. Neville a bit over how poorly she’s feeling and how his treatments don’t seem to be helping her. He insists that he will find a way to successfully treat her. Soon, Stitch and Max show up, and Ash says she’ll take care of the guy for a bit. She also visits Victor at the hospital, chastizing him for breaking Abby’s heart with his games.

The Young and the Restless spoilers detail that Stitch will confront Victor over Kelly’s death, but Newman doesn’t take any responsibility for what happened. Stitch decides that he needs to take himself off of Victor’s medical case. Abby, Nikki, and Summer soon head to the hospital to visit, and they tell Victor about the board vote. He lays the blame on Nikki and Vikki, and though Nikki tries to smooth things over with him, he tosses her out of the room.

Vikki soon shows up to talk to her father as well, and Young and Restless spoilers detail that he insists he will be back in his seat before long. He adds that once he does regain control of Newman Enterprises, he’ll be tossing her out. Ashley will have a good time hanging out with Max, and it seems it will inspire her to keep fighting. Neville will make a remark about how Ash may be bonding with Max because of her feelings for Stitch, but she swears that is not the case.

Fans can be sure that Victor will be fighting to take back control of Newman Enterprises, and he will surely be vicious as the battle plays out. Will he win, and what kind of carnage will be left behind as he pushes for the win? Fans cannot wait to see where things head next as the chaos continues on The Young and the Restless.
